Ottima accoglienza, molto piacevole e buona la cena in compagnia a tavola col gestore, e interessanti le informazioni storiche che ci ha fornito. Però stanza e bagno non proprio curati, e il conto totale è risultato più alto rispetto a quanto ci aspettavamo. Peccato. Difficult to judge this place! Excellent welcome, very pleasant and good dinner in company at the table with the manager, and interesting historical information that he provided us. Il paese vive delle poche persone rimaste che ne formano la memoria storica, ben rappresentata da Roberto, suo fratello e lo zio Duilio. Formaggi salumi, zuppa di farro, carne e insalata mista per cena, accompagnati da un buon rosso della casa in compagnia di Roberto. Grazie, siamo stati bene e secondo me, è come dovrebbe essere... Marco (10.000) e Eugenia (10.001). We were well received and welcomed on arrival. The town lives on the few remaining people who form its historical memory, well represented by Roberto, his brother and his uncle Duilio. Gli chiediamo una scodella per far bere il cane e la risposta è "non ce l'ho mi dispiace"...(Andava bene anche un bicchiere di plastica tagliato piuttosto che dire di no!!!) ...nemmeno una forchettina per mangiare gli affettati e il formaggio che consumiamo con le mani ...e quando vai a pagare 41€ non hanno il bancomat...allora dico al signore al bancone (che non è il signore che ci ha accolto) che ho 40€ in contanti, pensando mi dicesse non si preoccupi va bene così (anche perché la cifra per quello che abbiamo consumato mi sembrava decisamente eccessiva) comunque lui cosa mi risponde guardandomi sgomento? " qui sotto c'è un bancomat può ritirare li " :) :) io completamente incredulo dico aspetti che vado in macchina a prendere l'euro che manca...torno e gli porto l'euro e anche ironicamente 1,10 centesimi di mancia, volevo vedere se si rendeva conto...risultato mi ha ringraziato dell'euro di mancia e tornando in macchina mi sono accorto che non mi ha fatto nemmeno lo scontrino...a volte bastano poche cose per rendere speciale qualcosa, altrettanto per rovinare tutto...esperienza altalenante, consigliato il cibo... il resto, mah! "below there is an ATM you can withdraw them" :) :) I completely incredulous I say wait that I go by car to take the euro that is missing ... I come back and bring him the euro and also ironically 1.10 cents tip, I wanted to see if he realized ... result he thanked me for the euro tip and returning in the car I realized that he didn't even give me the receipt ... sometimes a few things are enough to make something special, just as much for spoil everything ... mixed experience, recommended food ... the rest, mah!

Abbiamo mangiato due ottimi panini a testa composti da pane al farro semplicemente delizioso, e dentro capocollo e salame. Semplici come la terra umbra, e saporiti. Birra (al farro, prodotta localmente) e una crostata ancora con farina di farro superlativa. Il conto, tutto sommato in linea con la qualità dei cibi. Lo terremo da conto per i prossimi viaggi di sicuro. Grazie! Hurry lunch on a day of zero traffic on the street, June 2, 2021. We ate two excellent sandwiches each consisting of simply delicious spelled bread, and inside capocollo and salami. Simple like the Umbrian land, and tasty. Beer (spelled, locally produced) and a tart again with superlative spelled flour. The bill, all in all in line with the quality of the food. We will keep it in mind for the next trips for sure. Comodo, confortevole e posto in un ambiente magico e silenzioso al centro del paese bellissimo che è Monteleone di Spoleto. Roberto ci ha accolto col camino acceso e spiegato tutto, molto amichevole, accogliente e pieno di discorsi interessanti, gestisce anche il bar nel paese e prima di andar via ci siamo fermati per la colazione e quattro chiacchiere, grazie della splendida accoglienza e delle informazioni riguardo i percorsi che si possono fare nei dintorni, come il cammino di San Benedetto ad esempio. Torneremo We stayed over the weekend in the b & b / holiday home. Convenient, comfortable and located in a magical and silent environment in the center of the beautiful town that is Monteleone di Spoleto.
