Went here today for lunch, good food, friendly staff. I leave three stars for the long wait for the coffees (over 15 minutes after the request) and the final restaurant bill ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi sono fermato qui per pranzo. Il cibo è buono; il personale è gentile ma frettoloso e il servizio abbastanza lento. La posizione (sulla piazza) è buona ma gli interni sono molto ordinari. Il prezzo era un po' altino.
I stopped here for lunch. The food is good; the staff are friendly but rushed and the service quite slow. The location (on the square) is good but the interior is very ordinary. The price was a little high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giunti per caso, dopo la visita all’abbazia mi sono ritrovato per una pausa pranzo, ho ordinato un panino al San Daniele, veramente ottimo! Pane fragrante, prosciutto buonissimo! Personale gentile, locale abbastanza grande, anche se all’esterno c’è ovviamente più posto. Bagno puliti.
Arrived by chance, after visiting the abbey I found myself for a lunch break, I ordered a sandwich at San Daniele, really great! Fragrant bread, yummy ham! Friendly staff, a fairly large venue, although there is obviously more space outside. Clean bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel ristorante proprio su Piazza del Capitolo, in pieno centro storico di Aquileia. Ottimi piatti tradizionali locali e prezzi accessibili. Menù non turistico! Abbiamo ordinato il caffè e ci hanno offerto un piccolo dolcetto molto buono, pensiero davvero gentile.
Nice restaurant right on Piazza del Capitolo, in the historic center of Aquileia. Excellent traditional local dishes and affordable prices. Non-tourist menu! We ordered coffee and they offered us a very good little sweet, really kind thought.
