★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little bar in the middle of Trestevere, not far from piazza santa maria. Piping hot caffe espresso! Clean tasting without any burnt bitterness. Seating available, but you pay a premium when you sit!!! Drink like the locals- at the bar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing evening. The place is really vibrant and you can feel that you are at the real place not made just for tourists. To be honest at the beginning I felt quite out of place but I felt very welcomed by easygoing staff and amazing people who joined our table for a short conversation. This is a great place to see how the actual night life is looking in Trastevere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING local and relaxing experience. We spent a Friday evening just enjoying lovely Negronis (3 euros each vs 8 elsewhere) with premium seating and excellent and warm service. This was truly a highlight. Plus you can just run next door and grab some pizza and suppli to make it even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a perfect experience in a typical place of Rome, you definitely have to come to Antico Caffe.
I highly recommend the croissant with cream inside.
Valeria was very nice person. She attended very quickly and was dedicate with the clients.
Everything was made in the moment.
I came every day during 4 days to have breakfast in Antico Caffe.
If I come to Rome again, this will be one of my mandatory stops!
