Bellissimo l effetto entrando... volte e colonne che si alternano dando vita a un contrasto a colori e nel centro la fonte battesimale. Breve la visita ma si può sostare sulle panche nel chiostro a prendere un po' di fresco nei periodi caldi o visitare il museo.
 The Baptistery of San Pietro complex is located in the central area of Asti. The effect is beautiful when entering ... alternating vaults and columns, creating a contrast in color and in the center the baptismal font. The visit is short but you can stop on the benches in the cloister to get some fresh air in the warm periods or visit the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto caratteristico e tutto sommato abbastanza ben conservato, con un pregevole colonnato intorno al battistero. Peccato che per il resto sia completamente spoglio: bella la struttura, potrebbe essere valorizzata ancora di più.
Very characteristic place and all in all quite well preserved, with a fine colonnade around the baptistery. Too bad that otherwise it is completely bare: the structure is beautiful, it could be enhanced even more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il complesso del Battistero di San Pietro è composto da tre edifici: la quattrocentesca chiesa quadrata,e a ridosso la Rotonda con la sua torre ed il vicino chiostro (del quale una parte era destinata ad Ospedale dei Pellegrini) ed una a Casa Priorale.
La Rotonda del Santo Sepolcro è costruita in mattoni ed arenaria.
Consiglio di verificare gli orari di apertura.
The complex of the Baptistery of San Pietro is made up of three buildings: the fifteenth-century square church, and close to the Rotonda with its tower and the nearby cloister (of which a part was destined to the Hospital of the Pilgrims) and one to the Casa Priorale.
The Rotonda del Santo Sepolcro is built in brick and sandstone.
I recommend checking the opening hours.
