Very velcoming staff. Small hotel just next to the Colosseum. Many restaurants and shops in immidiate proximity. Free internet, and complimentary water. No elevator, so be strong. Clean and very high quality rooms.

We were supposed to travel to Italy and Greece from June 23 2020 to July 8th 2020. Because of Covid 19 pandemic our cruise and our flights were canceled. I contacted Alex the manager and let him know about our situation and asked that our deposit be refunded. Alex told me that that was impossible and he could not help me. I just want to make people aware of how this business operates. Even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic their greedy little fingers are more interested in stealing 100 Euro instead of creating any kind of goodwill. Beware before you book there are plenty of options in Rome. This one is not reputable

The reception was friendly and warm but the hotel itself is a bit old and small. Our AC didn't get below 24Β° despite the reseptionist coming to fix it. The bed was one of tbe hardest we have ever sleep on and I prefer a firm bed. The inclusive breakfast is a croissant and coffee. The location is great one block from the collesuem!! Hope this helps anyone on the fence.

Great place to stay! Great staff! Great location! Rooms were very quirky. Hotel is an extension of the gay bar and situated on gay street in Rome by the colleseum. There is also a tube station 2-3 min away next to the colleseum. All that staff in the hotel and bar were very friendly and funny. Enjoyed staying at he hotel and spent most nights in the bar downstairs. The rooms are very clean and have a coffee machine (single use free then payment required). There is unfortunately no elevator which is a shame as the rooms are on the 2nd floor. All in all really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Let’s start with the positive. Location, the building is literally on the side of the colosseum and that is fantastic. Positive number two everyone is very nice and friendly. Positive number three the room was spacious. Positive number four the mattress was comfortable. Positive number four the WiFi was good, solid and fast. Now the negative: first the water was barely warm. Now in the summer when it is 30C outside it is not a big problem but in the winter I am sure it won’t be nice. We told the front desk about this but nothing was done. Problem number two the room was clean to a minimum standard, there were few areas that would have required a much deeper clean. Number three the AC was really noisy to the point that we had to use heat plugs to be able to sleep. Number four, and this is probably the biggest one, was the quality versus price! €120 NOT INCLUDING BREAKFAST seemed very expensive for what we got. Now I understand that the location location is prime but we saw on line many better places in the area for a much cheaper price.... and the all INCLUDED breakfast! On the breakfast topic the place offers a deal with the bar downstairs for a 10%off on every meals or a €10 set price for brew but the bar doesn’t open till 10am... so if we wanted to use the €10 special we would have had to wait till 10am to eat... In conclusion I think that the correct price for the room we had without breakfast should have been no more than €70.

I really wanted this place to be better. The good: location- right by the colosseum, and the restaurant (5 star review for them) makes the best carbonara. Also, very friendly front desk staff, and spacious room. Check in was a breeze, and they happily called a taxi when needed. Also, The bed was clean, and comfortable (I checked). The bad: room was dirty. Shower door broken (however it was fixed right away), tepid at best water in the shower (frigid cold in the AM). Also, the shower walls were not clean (no further details necessary). I needed to wear earplugs because the AC was old, very noisy. Coffee maker was dirty (water container had white stains). Also, the room cost 120€ for the night, and did not include breakfast (should have checked this earlier, that’s on me). I could have found a similar room in the similar area for 60-70€ But this was an LGBT friendly place and I wanted to support them. If it wasn’t for the friendly service, this would have been a 2 star review. Tip: don’t bother with the β€œcolosseum” view. To see it, you’ll need to open the window and look far outside it to the left. Better to see it from the restaurant below.
