Compagnia corretta, se ovviamente lo si è altrettanto nei loro confronti. Automobili pulite e moderne, disponibilità del servizio customer sia in loco che dalla sede della compagnia. Prezzi onesti. Due esperienze di noleggio: Bari e Catania.
Correct company, if obviously it is the same towards them. Clean and modern cars, availability of customer service both on site and from the company's headquarters. Fair prices. Two rental experiences: Bari and Catania.

Esperienza pessima. Ricevuto auto con serbatoio non proprio pieno ma che ho dovuto restituire col pieno. Inoltre il veicolo aveva contrassegnato un urto all’atto della consegna che, poi, mi é stato addebitato sulla carta di credito senza possibilità di contraddittorio. Vivamente sconsigliato.
Bad experience. I received a car with a tank that was not quite full but I had to return it full. In addition, the vehicle had marked a bump at the time of delivery which was then charged to my credit card without the possibility of a dispute. Strongly not recommended.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM AUTOVIA. As I write this I am still waiting for the resolution of what should have been a simple problem, yet we are getting no help or support from them 48 hours afterwards, leaving us with no car. For all AUTOVIA care we could still be stuck at the roadside waiting for them to answer their ‘phone or respond to the e-mails I have sent them. Things to bear in mind are 1. The hire deal does not appear to include formal roadside assistance. If you have a problem you are referred to the manufacturers roadside assistance call centres which do everything to avoid offering any help - assuming the numbers Autovia supply you with are current, of course. We are in Imperia - the assistance number we were given covered only Bologna and its environs. They were not able to provide us with a number for the call centre covering this area. 2. The office number given to you on the agreement is actually the hire desk number in the airport, manned by a single agent. If you ring it you will be fobbed off as they will tell you they have a long queue and will ring you back. Guess what - they don’t!! Nor do they respond to e-mails. 3. The car I have is not equipped with a spare tyre, jack, wheelbrace or anything that will help with a tyre problem, which is why we are where we are today. I gather this is the same on all AUTOVIA cars. We have an unrepairable tyre - our fault, granted - so the simplest thing would be for us to remove the wheel/tyre, take it to a tyre shop and replace it. All we had, however, is a inefficient pump/repair solution device, which will not work unless the weight is taken off the wheel. Try to get anyone, much less AUTOVIA, to tackle that problem on a Sunday afternoon in Italy if you don’t have an arrangement with a proper roadside assistance company, it is nigh on impossible. 4. We did eventually get offered recovery assistance 24 hours later, but then discovered that the intention was to take the whole car to Savona, 70kms away and that we would have to make our own way there to recover it after repair. Whilst trains do run between Savona and main towns along the coast, where we are, in Ceriana, we are 10kms from the nearest rail station with no taxis and a very limited bus route. This is not a viable option, but it all revolves around the fact that the Savona depot is the only one AUTOVIA authorise to change tyres(!) a job that can be completed at the roadside if the right tools are provided. 5. The ‘emergency’ contact number provided on AUTOVIA’s documents handed over at the agency is not answered. It rings out then cuts off. Similarly, with a whole range of other numbers they provided us with. As an added factor to consider if you have anything other than a ‘phone from an Italian provider, the 800 numbers they supply won’t connect!! In summary, you’ll probably get a good car at a reasonable rate, but the moment anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. AUTOVIA DON’T CARE AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO AVOID TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY!!

NEVER USE AUTOVIA NEVER EVER When i did the check, the staff made me sign without telling me I signed for the ckeck-in, without showing me any contrat, and without showing us the car. Then he gave us the contract with the pre-filled check-in and my electronic signature, and just left the office before us... We went to the car alone and saw that a lot of minor damages on the car were not registered on the check-in contract. When returning the car, a member of staff noticed a minor scratch on one the car rims, and wrote it on the check-out contract and made me sign. I am extremely disappointed of the autovia's service as no check-in was done correctly, and i had to sign it without seeing it, or even knowing my signature was for the check-in. The scratch was very very probably here before the check in. Autovia has a 1390 euros pre-autorization on my debit card, and i'm very afraid that this unfair behaviour will end up by a massive indue charge on my bank account.

I had a very pleasant experience with autovia. The staff was very friendly and clear. I got upgraded to a far better car without any additional costs, and I faced no unexpected surprises. Would definitely rent again.
