★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Banco Alimentare Roma opera dal 1990, nella Parrocchia di San Ponziano, per iniziativa di un gruppo di volontari desiderosi di impegnarsi in attività di sostegno a persone in difficoltà, presenti nella città di Roma e nella Regione Lazio. Opera grazie a molti volontari che la prima domenica di marzo raccolgono, nei supermercati, generi alimentari donati dai clienti, che poi sono distribuiti alle famiglie meno abbienti. Un ringraziamento speciale al Presidente Massimo Perrotta scomparso lo scorso febbraio.
Banco Alimentare Roma has been operating since 1990, in the Parish of San Ponziano, on the initiative of a group of volunteers eager to engage in support activities for people in difficulty, present in the city of Rome and in the Lazio Region. It works thanks to many volunteers who, on the first Sunday of March, collect food donated by customers in supermarkets, which are then distributed to less well-off families. Special thanks to the President Massimo Perrotta who passed away last February.
