As well we made a tour of Pompei with the same company and the spanish tour women guide (do not remember the guide name) was not so accurate nor interesting.

Our guide Antonio was fantastic, very knowledge and very friendly and passionate about the history of Pompeii and Herculean but also before and after the eruption of Vesuvius. The tour is well organised with very clear and consise instructions sent on whete and when to meet. Highly recommended.

He has a real passion for archeology and Pompeii in particular. Having an actual archeologist makes the experience all the richer and more memorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Pompeii for two days during Easter and booked a guided tour of Pompeii on Good Friday. The archeologist who guided us through the ancient city, Paolo Gardelli, was very knowledgeable and a really nice guy who made the tour something to remember. He gave us heaps of knowledge about how they had escavated the city and how to spot the difference between different layers. He had so many "secrets" to reveal that would be impossible to spot for an untrained eye doing the site on our own. We got so enthusiastic about this tour that we visited the other city, Herculaneum, the very next day. This time we could do without a guide due to all of the knowledge we had gained through our marvellous guide. Thanks a million to Paolo who currently works as an archeologist on of the other cities, Stabiae, that also had to face Vesuvio's wrath in the year 79AD.
