Art Hotel Capomulini

I want to start my review bay saying that I got here in a package tour and what I can say about this place is that no one deserves to pay for being in such a low level hotel, don't believe that this is a four ? hotel it's a complete lay this hotel at the most is like two stars, in short when I irrivar to the room of the hotel the air-conditioned didn't work there water didn't came out with pressure the wifi didn't work and the two girls in charge that night didn't know how to fix anything at all, the next day I went to take my breakfast but didn't know where was the restaurant so I tried to ask in the manager office and there was this skinny lady with an attitude that left a lot to be desire, I ask here and she told me in a bad manner that she was on the phone and I couldn't interrupt her when I only wanted to know where was the restaurant because I was in a hurry to get with the group so they don't leave me behind, well I insisted to this lady that if she could tell me where was the restaurant and she menace me and told me that I couldn't step inside his office like it was some kind of the limits of the hotel and then she got up in a bad manner speaking in Italian very angry and she came to me shouting and very aggressive she got out of the office and shouted at me that I need to respect and don't interrupt her like I was a little boy then she told me where was the restaurant finally, and what I told her was that she needs to relax, then I went to the restaurant that of course I had to wait for the food because they didn't make enough for everyone. Well apart that I put this review in response to the bad treatment they give to the customer they as a hotel that supposed to be 4 stars it just shows that they lack the principal of respect of the customer and shows that they give a bad manner to treat a simple question with a bad attitude but I think here they are accustomed to this treatment here, other countries other costumes.

No towels given for the swimming pool, no room service , no service at nigth (like coffe ir tea ) .And the bathroom was in bad state. 130 euro the nigth, i'm very unhappy.

Service is awful. Restaurant staff is unfriendly and sometimes forgetting to bring you drinks. In pool you have to swim with a cap. Maybe just because of location this hotel has four stars.

I went there for 2 nights. First day I went to the bathroom and it was used. The breakfast was not very poor, but I try to eat eggs but unfortunately were very old. I took 4. 1 smelt very bad and others has got difficult colour from normal

The rooms were hot even though it states there is air conditioning. The food and drinks are mediocre not to mention in order to get in the pool you have to wear a cap. DO NOR WASTE YOUR MONEY this place is neither luxiourios or relaxing. Don't even come to Catania this place is the ultimate dump of Italy. Go to Venice beaches are nice hotels are nice the place is cleaner.

The staff were immensely helpful and ensured that our university group booking worked well. The Hotel was very well positioned for our student fieldwork activities on Mount Etna and along the coast to Giardini Naxos. The bay was also host to some fantastic seafood restaurants just a short walk away! We had a great time!

Art Hotel Capomulini is wonderful! Highly recommended!! This place has an incredible location right next to the Mediterranean Sea, a beautiful pool, dreamy beds and EXCELLENT employees. Special shot out to Giuseppe, who was one of the most patient, professional and accommodating workers I have ever seen. A bunch of us spent the night at Art Hotel after our flight out of Catania was cancelled. Needless to say, we were a weary bunch after the hours long airport debacle and unexpected change of plans. Giuseppe was masterful in responding to our multiple needs: some of us wanted to sleep, some of us wanted to blow off steam by the pool, and some of us wanted to eat (by the way they have gluten free/allergy-friendly options!). THANK YOU Giuseppe and Art Hotel Capomulini for making an bad situation (flight cancelled day of) so so so good!

Calling this an hotel is misleading, its more like a hostel. First at our arrival there were no safe in the room,only after i requested one as it was written they brought one the next day. The only person how speaks English was the lady at the counter. The mattress are hard and wasn't so pleasant to sleep on. although there is a balcony in the room, they probably decided that people on vacation will not want sit in the balcony so they didn't even put chairs. The food in the hotel is Horrible!! its far from Italian good food. The buns that they gave every day were hard as stone! it seems like they kept there since WW2 . The vegetables are far from being fresh. And lucky me i got food poisoning the next day and the only thing i ate is the hotel food, probably because of the fish they served. Do your own consideration, i would suggest to avoid this "hotel".
