Great place. The north part is kind of slippage if you are on tight schedule. Make sure to leave ample time for the country pavillions since the main exhibition is already huge. If they could sort one thing out it would be the cafes and restaurants. They are really understaffed and there are lines like crazy. It's not really the reason for going to the biennale, but It's still a day out and stopping for coffees and drinks along the way makes the visit so much more pleasant.

The most important architecture exhibition in the world every two years. The Venice Biennial is an exhibition that contains ambitious and creative ideas comes from all over the world. The exhibition contains two places: one in Arsenal and one in Giardini. It’s recommended to visit both to have a whole perspective of the exhibition.

If you are in Venice, you should not skip this place even if you are not an artist or don't understand art. It is a place to go. It lasts until November. It is closed on Monday and at least 2 days are needed to explore it. I highly recommend this place.

Probably the most beautiful exhibition i have ever seen - But very hard to find. My family and i had seen the posters all over Venice and wanted to visit it so we went looking for it for almost 1,5 hours. There is no information on where to find it on the actual poster, and when we finally found the information point, they couldn’t tell us in English what to do. All the information and the signs where hard to understand and find, so all in all a bit chaotic and confusing but very beautiful once you get in. The entrance is just next to the information point and my mom had booked some tickets online (which is the only way to way to get tickets!). Therefore: - reserve tickets online before you arrive. They will give you a reservation number and you will get your tickets from the information point. After that go to the entrance and they will scan your ticket. Then you can enter the hall where you will find the exhibition. - the actual museum is gorgeous. The tickets may be expensive (25 euros for adults and 16 for students) but it is worth it. There is so much to see and it’s all very interesting and thought out - you can find the museums entrance at the β€˜Arsenale sella Biennale so Venezia’. You can find it in google maps. - visit the museums shop before you enter. The exit signs will guide you all the way around the entire place and it is actually very hard to find the exit. You won’t come back the same place as you entered so it is better to see the shop before. (Mostly books) Hope this helps.

Architecture biennale 2021. Post COVID. How we will live together topic. Many pavilions addressed problems of living in after pandemic, cultural differences and as well things that people all over the world have in common no matter km of distance, language barriers, cultures and standard of living. Really interested. At the entrances they are controlling Green Pass. One of the exits at the end of Arsenale wasn’t open this weekend. Friendly stuff, highly recommended for architecture and design lovers.

We visited when they had the β€œHow will we live together?” exhibition. We had a lovely day here. There were so many rooms. I recommend carving out at least half a day to a day to enjoy it. It was all curated very well. The views surrounding the exhibit are also exquisite. Inside the complex there’s also a nice restaurant with a great selection.
