Sono stata indirizzata ad un albergo piuttosto distante dal centro, fidandosi ciecamente di quanto (ingannevolmente) scritto nel sito dell'albergo. Se un'agenzia deve ricercare gli alberghi su internet, come una persona qualunque, il valore aggiunto alla qualità e' nullo. La gente si rivolge alle agenzie per non commettere certi errori di valutazione (distanza dell'albergo, ristoranti nelle vicinanze ecc.). Penso che un'agenzia seria dovrebbe conoscere il territorio o, quanto meno, gli alberghi che propone. In fondo si trattava di Lucca e non uno sperduto paesino. Non solo, arrivati alle mura, c'era da percorrere altrettanta strada per raggiungere i luoghi di maggiore interesse. Un'agenzia con personale qualificato dovrebbe conoscere i luoghi che propone e di conseguenza ricercare alberghi adatti alle persone che si trova davanti. Vacanza totalmente rovinata. Wanting to visit the historic center of Lucca, I booked a 3-day trip at this agency. It was a nightmare for 3 days. I was referred to a hotel quite far from the center, trusting blindly in what was (deceptively) written on the hotel website. If an agency has to search for hotels on the internet, like any other person, the added value to quality is null. People turn to agencies to avoid making errors of assessment (distance of the hotel, nearby restaurants, etc.). I think a serious agency should know the area or, at least, the hotels it offers. After all it was Lucca and not a remote village. Not only that, having reached the walls, there was just as much road to travel to reach the places of greatest interest. An agency with qualified personnel should know the places it proposes and consequently search for hotels suitable for people who are in front of it. Totally ruined vacation.
