★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the way after a walking day in the streets we went there for a diner. Surprisingly the menu was out of the classical touristic style. Real food and not only polpette and pasta we went on the risotto ala porcini great tasty and staff was good. Wine list local and prices not amazing regards to the quality of the products and place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a great place to eat! Beautiful interior and a great location. On the San Marco side of Venice this restaurant sits on a small open area right next to an opera house. This would be a great place to grab something to eat before going to a show! The staff was very accommodating and spoke good English. They made us feel very welcome! The steak in the pictures was cooked exactly as order which is always tough to find. The carpacio was made very well, and the sauce was very good. My wife ordered a regular martini which was made very well. If I had one draw back was that the desserts were kind of plain. But the ones we had were very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start. Maitre D. Seemed more hopeful of getting us to sit next door, as they did Pizza and Lasagna. I can only assume my Dunnes of Ireland, shirt, did not meet the requirements,of Gucci or Prada, to sit in a fine dining establishment.
We had 3 courses each,and yes five and half plates perfect. But opps, charcoal creme brulee.
Wine advertised, as a 2015 but I noticed it was 2019.
As my wife put it, the food amazing, but she felt, as if it was a Pretty Woman evening.
We have dined in so called best restaurants around Europe.
But these guys,need to stop looking down there noses, at the diners. And just maybe. Ask if you are enjoying your meal.
And stop being snobs.
Yes I would recommend the food. The service not a chance unless you look like you are someone and heh may get a good tip here.
Or perhaps buy some Prada or LV beforehand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely not for everyone. This is living Venetian history, one of the earliest places in the city , prices are high the food is wonderful. Don’t be shy ask the waiter for best choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of our nicest dining experiences in Venice. The service was the second best we had in Venice, and the menu is quite good. The wine list isn’t super extensive but good enough and the prices are quite good. We enjoyed the quiet restaurant and views towards the theatre. We would definitely come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was great specially the bread that was served prior to all our orders. I ordered Fish Soup which is good and not salty. For the main course, I ordered lamb chops for a change since we’ve been having pasta and pizza for quite sometime. The lamb chops for me is superb! I’m happy that I ordered it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frankly speaking we don’t know why this restaurant was not good reviews. We was there with my wife for the New Year Eve. We had a 7 course menu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Maybe the table was not very good but after we asked the waiter whey moved us to another table. Very good service. The choice of pairing wines was absolutely perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for my 23rd birthday and thoroughly enjoyed! Although it’s expensive it’s worth the money for a nice meal and the drinks / desserts are lovely! They sang happy birthday and the staff were all lovely! Even though it was raining it was a lovely atmosphere in the evening! Thank you :)
