L'ho trovato tramite pubblicità in internet e ho scelto questo ristorante in occasione del primo anniversario di fidanzamento (il ristorante ci ha sorpreso portandoci un piatto di dolci offerto da loro per festeggiare ulteriormente la nostra ricorrenza). I piatti sono curati e selezionati dallo chef Tomei e sono stati di nostro gradimento. Ampia e gustosa scelta dei vini. Il locale si trova al settimo piano dell'hotel Bauer dove si può ammirare dalla sua terrazza (la più alta di Venezia) tutta la zona San Marco e non solo. Da tornarci anche in estate dove si può usufruire della terrazza panoramica. Consigliatissimo.
High-class restaurant, friendly, engaging and competent staff. I found it through internet advertising and chose this restaurant on the occasion of the first engagement anniversary (the restaurant surprised us by bringing us a plate of sweets offered by them to further celebrate our anniversary). The dishes are prepared and selected by chef Tomei and were to our liking. Wide and tasty choice of wines. The restaurant is located on the seventh floor of the Bauer hotel where you can admire the whole San Marco area and beyond from its terrace (the highest in Venice). To come back even in summer where you can take advantage of the panoramic terrace. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cena con vista fantastica, affacciati in bacino San Marco abbiamo apprezzato il menù degustazione a 7 portate con accompagnamento dei vini consigliati dal sommelier. Lo chef Tomei ci ha deliziato con prodotti del territorio sapientemente abbinati in modo creativo. Vini di ottimo livello e vista spettacolare hanno reso magica la serata. Lo staff ci ha coccolato in modo premuroso ma non asfissiante, spiegando i piatti in modo preciso. Per concludere che dire…… la magia di Venezia al settimo cielo!
Dinner with a fantastic view, overlooking the San Marco basin, we enjoyed the 7-course tasting menu accompanied by wines recommended by the sommelier. Chef Tomei delighted us with skilfully combined local products in a creative way. Excellent wines and spectacular views made the evening magical. The staff pampered us in a thoughtful but not suffocating way, explaining the dishes in a precise way. To conclude what to say …… the magic of Venice in seventh heaven!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s comical how bad this meal was. 4 of us went here on Saturday the 14th. Half way through it became a running joke to see if they could complete the sweep and deliver 7 dishes everyone disliked. They succeeded. I’d like to note we are note supper picky foodies. This was one of them most mind-blowingly bad meals I’ve had in my 43 years of life. It was fairly impressive to deliver not just food we didn’t like but food that was consistently offensive and difficult to swallow. I have no idea what malfunction is going on here but something went seriously wrong.
