★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good. The waiters don't smile, are in the very big hurry, give and take away the meals as they would like to say 'eat and go away'. I can pay 2€ for the coffee but the 3€ for the 'coperto' per person, this is a disaster.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Antica Trattoria Ferrari is an amazing restaurant near the famous bridge of Pavia “Ponte Coperto”. It has an interesting menu which offers a nice variety of dishes for both vegetarian and non. The service is great and kind. Inside the place is quite typical for an Italian trattoria and there’s also the possibility to eat outside in the garden in a nice veranda. (Perfect for situation like Co-Vid). The dishes are magnificent. The ingredient are first quality, and the result is a really delicious lunch or dinner. The restaurant at the end is a revisited type of “Osteria”, normal portion size, well served (almost lush restaurant), fair price, amazing ingredients. The only small negatives points are the toilet that was not repaired and the “coperto” (a fee for washing cutlery,tablecloth and tissue) that is a bit higher than normal (3€)
If you are in Pavia and you want to enjoy a meal I highly recommend this Trattoria.
