Piatti di carne e di pesce presentati in maniera davvero impeccabile e originale, con abbinamenti sempre particolari ed azzeccati!
Molto bello concedersi una cenetta a due nella verandina affacciata sul fiume.
Personale molto cordiale e disponibile, pronto ad assecondare in maniera assolutamente discreta le esigenze degli ospiti.
Prezzi adeguati alla qualità e alla location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stato una domenica a pranzo e devo dire di essere rimasto abbastanza deluso. Il locale, molto rinomato a Pavia, vive di una luce passata. Location bella ma migliorabile (manca la cura del dettaglio); bicchiere sbeccati e altre piccole cose che non ti aspetti in questo genere di posto. Il menù è vario e di buona fattura (nulla però di estremamente eccellente). I prezzi sono mediamente più alti dei competitor. Ho preso il menù degustazione (un antipasto, un primo, un secondo e dolce) a 40€. Porzioni molto risicate ma tutte buone (tranne il semifreddo che in realtà era un cubetto di ghiaccio). All'ingresso non viene controllato il greenpass. Penso che a Pavia ci siano molti posti storici migliori.
I was on a Sunday for lunch and I have to say I was quite disappointed. The restaurant, very famous in Pavia, lives on a past light. Beautiful location but can be improved (attention to detail is missing); chipped glass and other little things you don't expect in this kind of place. The menu is varied and well-made (but nothing extremely excellent). Prices are on average higher than competitors. I got the tasting menu (an appetizer, a first course, a second course and dessert) for € 40. Very thin portions but all good (except the parfait which was actually an ice cube). The greenpass is not checked at the entrance. I think there are many better historical places in Pavia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like it used to be something - but not anymore. Food was mediocre (salty pasta, chewy meat) and small portions. Terrace is still nice (though in needs of renovation) with a good view on the river - staff was correct.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came across this beautiful charming restaurant while on a day trip to Pavia. Service was excellent. Food quality off the chart and very delicious and beautiful set up with amazing panoramic view of Ticino river and ponte. Well done to keep the atmospher real. Will return with family in the summer. The staff speak very well english as well for those tourist coming to beautiful Pavia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly, professional, attentive staff. I visited early on a quiet night and had a lovely risotto accompanied by a great selection of breads. Compared to the UK, prices are very reasonable for this level of quality and service.
