★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best truffle pasta I have ever had. Only reason it's not five stars is because they only had one server and the service was slow, and the pasta was a bit soft. Otherwise, amazing. Clam pasta was also very fresh and delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting “lost” in Venice is the way to see it. Stumbling across this gem is why. Lovely food, service on non touristy street. We were wowed by all we ate from the simple to the mixed sea food appetizer. Perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Venetian friend recommended this place as we were looking for a 'local' experience. Nothing is fancy, but it was such a cute little restaurant with all dishes were tasty and the waitresses were very kind. We forgot to get a mosquito spray when we were sitting outside and got some bites. Highly recommend to visit here but with a mosquito spray :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our best meal in 5 trips to different regions of Italy. Completely local place - daily handwritten menu. No wine list as wine is recommended by the waiter. We had two bottles, both outstanding and as they had run out of the first bottle by the time we wanted another, they gave us a ridiculously good Sauvignon blanc at the same (incredibly reasonable) price. Highlights included the bigoli clam and scampi pasta in a thick reduced tomato sauce and the most interesting use of polenta (with snails!). The two men in charge are so welcoming, friendly and make you feel like you’ve walked into their living room for dinner. Small with about 20 seats - either reserve or just try your luck like us!
