Wonderful Place. Sitting on the bench directly at the wall and watching the Venice life while drinking a delicious Bellini is great. I also had a panini with salmon and rocket. Tasted great! And chips are served for free ?

A lovely bar on a small square. Here you can have tasty Aperols with complementary snacks and just enjoy the view of a beautiful church and watch people walking by. Very relaxing away from the tourists. Great service! They even offered us mosquito spray in the evening ?

They don't let you stay if you're not eating which is a shame but the coffee is good and we were not told impolitely there are also other cafes in the square.

I wanted to grab a quick coffee so I entered this coffee shop The woman there couldn’t even manage to say hello and just told me that i need to sit down outside.. so i told her nicely that I just would like to grab a coffee to go.. She responded that i need to show her the green pass (covid certificate) which you normally only have to show when you want to sit inside a restaurant etc. As a matter of course I showed her the certificate because i was not eager to have an argument with this unfriendly individual and also because I have no problem with the rule.. So after she made the coffee she already printed a receipt for cash payment.. When she saw that i wanted to pay by card she implied that i have to pay cash I responded that i don’t have cash and only can pay by card and that I also never said that I will or can pay cash and that its not my fault that she already printed a receipt for cash payment without even asking me.. Nonetheless she took the coffee in front of me away making it clear that she won’t let me pay by card.. This is absolutely ridiculous and i have never experienced something even close like that.. You don’t treat customers like this .. And you certainly don’t make them responsible for your own mistakes.. Maybe the food and coffee there is good obviously i never got the chance to judge that.. But for me behavior like this is absolutely unacceptable!!

Just take a glass of Spritz (Aperol is OK, but local Select Spritz is better), take a seat outside and watch people on the beautiful square Campo Santa Maria Nuova. Best experience!!!

I was there last week. Beautiful setting : terrace in the sun, beautiful sight on the Santa Maria Nova ; Campiello full of blossoming trees... And I was lucky! There was a SMALL table free and waiting there for me! Perfect to have a pause and to enjoy the perfect italian coffee in the sun.... But how I was dissapointed when the owner came to me and I asked him if I could sit down at his LITTLE table... His "charming" reaction : " How many person?... ONE?! ... NOOO ....MADAM...." So I went on.... with all the rest of the terrace looking quite a bit shocked. And I could just see that a couple of other persons could " squeeze themselves" at my table ... Art café Venezia doesn't like single persons at their table.... They obviously "think" they can make more money out of couples or larger groups... They are so rude.... I' dd rather give them no star at all in this review... In fact : one is still too much!!!

Very unfriendly woman, wouldn‘t give me my coffee when I wanted to pay by card. Super rude. The owner didn‘t seem to care how his costumers were being treated. Looks cute from the outside but that‘s an absolute trap. Would NOT recommend anyone to go there.

Nice place for evening spritz in a less crowded square. Tasty drinks, nice service. Visited twice during our stay in Venice.
