Little rustic gem! My husband and I really enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner. We wondered around the streets for several hours looking for something just like this. The centre of Florence is full of tourist traps, and this was a wonderfully authentic Italian osteria. The Tuscan Tomato Soup is amazing, a perfect light food to have in the heat of the summer.

What an awesome β€œwelcome” we received on our first night in Italy! Not only was this authentic Tuscan food superb, flawless, and comforting with depth of character, but the service was equally amazing and refreshing in every way! I cannot even begin to explain this dining experience with American words! Our culinary language is too boring for this. Our family of four had a pasta bolognese, which was a truely remarkable beef sauce (not a red sauce, think β€œslow roasted beef” flavor with ground beef on big, wide noodles)), a gnocchi with zucchini and pomodoro that made our tastebuds dance, a surprisingly pleasing sirloin steak dinner (we are usually unimpressed with steaks at restaurants), and I ordered the Tuscan chicken with roasted potatoes that was so full of flavor and done in a way that the chicken pulled away from the bones but retained full flavor and had a rare juicy-ness. For real, I almost cried but rejoiced instead :) The server and the chef/cook were so attentive and helpful and very nice and β€œreal”. Not only would we go back, but we reccomend that everyone who visits Florence tries this place. Oh! I forgot to mention the spicy bruschetta (there is a non-spicy version but we did not try it), .....no words can do it justice, we all enjoyed our taste of the bruschetta but kept our distance from my husband who was definitely β€œdevouring” it and making β€œyummy noises”. We dined outside on the sidewalk and the ambiance was just as special as the food and the service was. We have no doubt that you will enjoy this place :-)

Amazing restaurant with home made local specialties. Gabriela is a wonderful owner operator who cares that your dish is perfect and that you leave completely satisfied. I cant wait to come back and enjoy this wonderdul restaurant again. We started with a Ribollita soup that was a vegetable soup taken to the next level. We followed that by sharing a Pappardelle al cinghiale. That pasta could poasible be the best pasta dish i have ever had. I would post pictures of the food, but we could not wait to dig in.

We (fortunatly) only had a selection of bruchetta. It did not taste good, and we did not finish our food. The waitress even remarked on this, make a whole scene about this being authentic and how the chef had spent three hours on making the meal (how any chef could spend hours preparing this is beyond me). I would advise all to find another place to eat.

We got turned away from a highly rated place around the corner and came upon this fantastic little sidewalk restaurant. The roasted chicken and potatoes was the best ! The mixed grill was also good and plentiful for the price. The desserts were also fantastic ! The young waiter was friendly, helpful and fun. Great meal. One of our best in Italy

Had a delicious meal here. Amongst four people, we had a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts along with the house red. Food was great and served promptly, service was relaxed(but we were in no hurry and never asked for assistance). Ambiance is like a bad movie with chianti bottles everywhere, but it was very nice and cozy. Homemade pasta was cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable compared to others in the area.

Recommended by local tour guide. Surprised by good reviews. Only 2 tables of guest on evening of Good Friday - should have turned and left then. Tasteless bean soup, risotto that tasted as if it were frozen and microwaved with stale shrimp. Meal did not appear or taste fresh, or chef prepared. Glass of sparkling rose was old and flat. Best item hot tea; add small bottle of water, check total = 39.50. Was not looking for cheap meal. Got it in food, not price. Worst meal of trip. Don't walk away - run.

Nice little find, wandered in and both of the pasta dishes we had for lunch were delicious. Would highly reccomend the wild boar ragu pasta.
