★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hanno sorriso quando ho chiesto se facevano il test al lattulosio:" mai sentito questo nome" come se fosse una cosa dell'altro mondo. Ho detto che nello specifico si tratta di un breath test e mi hanno detto che fanno soltanto quello all'helicobacter pylori e che forse intendevo quest'ultimo. Invece il test al lattulosio è un test differente, esiste e anche se meno diffuso e non viene trattato dal laboratorio, è bene conoscere la differenza tra un test del respiro che misura l'urea e quello che misura uno zucchero, il lattulosio.
They smiled when I asked if they did the lactulose test: "never heard of this name" as if it were something from the other world. I said that specifically it is a breath test and they told me that they only do the one against helicobacter pylori and that maybe I meant the latter. Instead the lactulose test is a different test, it exists and even if less common and is not treated by the laboratory, it is good to know the difference between a breath test that measures urea and the one that measures a sugar, lactulose.
