★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pessimo veterinario, terribile esperienza. Studio sporco dalla visita precedente, lui stanco e spossato non sembrava in sè. Prima di operare il cane è passato al bar. Ha inciso l'animale a freddo, senza guanti ne' previa disinfezione, in stile "Shining" con spruzzi di sangue fino alle pareti. Si è rifiutato di medicare la ferita da lui provocata ("deve drenare") e di prescrivere terapie antidolorifiche (o antinfiammatori) e antibatteriche. Per lui era perfettamente normale portare un animale sanguinante a casa e sperare non si infettasse nei giorni a venire. Fortunatamente ho trovato altri professionisti più seri (e come se non bastasse, più economici!), ma lui non si è curato di sapere come nel frattempo il danno da lui procurato stesse evolvendo. 1 stella perchè è impossibile darne meno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Io ho portato un gatto con ascite, nel marzo del 2020; il gatto era perfettamente cosciente, certo con sversamento di liquido nella cavità addominale, ma camminava senza problemi e non mostrava alcun segno di problema neurologico. Lo lascio in ambulatorio, al mattino, lo vado e riprendere nel pomeriggio. Lo trovo con la pancia completamente drenata (è cosa nota che con l'ascite, il drenaggio vada fatto in momenti diversi, e non tutto in una volta per evitare lo shock). Lo riporto a casa, da quel momento il gatto non si muove più, ha le pupille dilatate e miagola ossessivamente nelle successive 15 ore. Il mattino seguente, purtroppo muore. Parlando di quello che stava accadendo, mi è stato detto che il gatto era andato in fibrillazione, e poi in una successiva telefonata mi hanno detto di portarlo in ambulatorio per sopprimerlo. Questa è stata la mia esperienza. Mai più, per quanto mi riguarda.

Speaking of what was happening, I was told that the cat had gone into fibrillation, and then in a subsequent phone call they told me to take it to the clinic to put it down. This has been my experience. Never again, as far as I'm concerned.
