I found Aldi to be spacious, well-illuminated and most importantly, organized and clean.
I stocked up on a few bottles of award-winning wines and couldn't pass up the Merci chocolates.
Fantastic bread and pastry selection near the orderly meat/seafood sections.
A beautiful array of fruits and vegetables at the entrance area along with the friendly 'commessa' who greeted me have left a very favorable impression of the newest German ' low cost' to the area. The price/quality ratio is superior to Aldi's rival L....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice low-cost supermarket on par or slightly better than competition like Lidl. Produce is cheap but very ripe and will only keep for a couple days. I was hoping to find some of the same products as in their American stores, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.
