S	Shogun Take on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione con una vista mozzafiato, peccato che non ci sia nè biglietteria nè sottopassaggio, inoltre è persistente un puzzo di ammoniaca che devasta, esiste uan sola panchina a 3 posti, in ferro quindi rovente in estate e congelata in inverno, per 3 binari. Station with a breathtaking view, pity that there is neither ticket nor subway, moreover it is persistent a stench of ammonia that devastates, there is only one bench with 3 places, in iron then hot in summer and frozen in winter, for 3 tracks.

Una ricostruzione sarebbe necessaria (o un buco nel recinto. lol) affinché la gente possa entrare direttamente in stazione dalla SS114 e non essere investita sulla tangenziale. Soprattutto per i giovani che vogliono esplorare la beddissima zona. ? I don't know if the operators will ever read it, but it is absurd that the station is only accessible from one side. A reconstruction would be necessary (or a hole in the fence. Lol) so that people can enter the station directly from the SS114 and not be run over on the ring road. It had a connection with the train of Francavilla of Sicily and Randazzo, now closed. Through this station is easy to catch “old fashion trains” with gears and two carriages, that are are still running through the City of Catania. However, Alcantara Train Station is still working and well connected with Giardini Naxos-Taormina with just one stop. And then 4 stops to Giarre Riposto, where you can explore the historic railway “CircumEtnea” and travel around also on those trains, and Catania Train station is about 7 stops.
