★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastico! My wife and I share the pasta e fagioli which was simply amazing; not the normal red version served in the US but a brown bean version. It was so very hearty and warmed the soul. For primi I ordered fried lamb chops with roasted potatoes and my wife ordered beef with artichoke; hers was served with the same potatoes. Thought the lamb chops were great, I prefer grilled - it was my mistake for not understanding Italiano so bene! Dinner was served with a nice glass of semi-local red. We finished with an espresso and shared a blueberry drizzled panna cotta... Perfecto

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I were in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana in early November. It was our second or third day in Italy, and after walking around town for a while, we were quite hungry and tired. We showed up nearly 40 minutes early, but the gentleman who was there let us in anyway and served us drinks. When they officially opened he came over and took our order. A short time later, we had our food. My wife got a gnocchi that...well, lets say we have been searching for anything remotely like it since and have had no luck. And that includes some pretty expensive restaurants. Incredibility good food. In fact, we stayed in Italy for two weeks after we were there, and this was the best food, the best meal overall, we had the entire time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited for ever whilst waiters walked past us numerous times befor they acknowledged us. Once seated we was served by a very friendly waitress she tried her best to speak
English and helped us with the menu.
The restaurant was not full but the food took ages to arrive.
Focaccia was lovely !
risotto is just rice pudding with out the sugar.
Steak was huge and very tasty but only came with a few potatoes
Fried chicken was delicious however came with a dollop of mayonnaise and a spoon full of caramelised onions that was it!(couldn’t order any Other sides)
I will no be returning to this restaurant as I feel it was over priced and does no show this region off in a good light
