β β β β β Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful facility. Came here by chance on a Saturday because trains were not running on Sunday to my final destination (Renaissance). I was swept away by the warmth of the hosts and the village dwellers. This is real Italy! Will recommend to anyone. I give a five-star rating to Eliseo.

β β β β β The food and atmosphere were just fantastic, and it is quite cheap considering prices here. The owner was a very nice elderly man who spoke English well. If you come here you must try some of the beverage or desserts as well!
I recommend this place whole heartedly!

β β β β β This place is simply amazing. We came over one evening, were amazed by the homemade pasta and cremo de limone. Desserts are on a league of their own (try out the tiramisu, it's a must have).
A gem with home atmosphere.

β β β β β Fantastic restaurant! Ate here twice during our stay in Gallicano.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. 1st visit we just had a pasta dish which was delicious. On our second visit we had the degustazione or taster menu which consisted of 4 fantastic dishes washed down with a nice reasonably priced Chianti followed by dessert and coffee.
We were given a complimentary liqueur or two after as well. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. If you're in or around Gallicano don't miss out and visit.

β β β β β I'll confess, the dish that I tried on this first visit (tortellini with mushrooms sauce) was not as good as I expected. It was a little bit cold too. My husband didn't like his dish either, but my son loved his spaghetti a bolognese. The thing about this place that will sure make us come back to try other dishes was the owner. Incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive and kind. Made us feel like we were having dinner at a very good friend's house. It worths the visit... And every single euro we spent there... Which by the way, it was not a lot. Very affordable.
