Assolutamente da provare le fritture: frittatine di pasta, fiori di zucca in pastella e crocchè di patate, davvero buonissime! Buono l'impasto delle pizze, accurata la scelta delle materie prime e il loro abbinamento. Consigliatissimo! Very nice and welcoming place in the historic center of the country included in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Excellent service. Absolutely to try the fried foods: pasta omelettes, pumpkin flowers in batter and potato croquettes, really delicious! Good pizza dough, careful choice of raw materials and their pairing. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo pranzato squisitamente e abbondantemente, pagando anche un conto più che giusto. Semmai dovessimo ritrovarci da queste parti, ci ritorneremmo molto volentieri. We were returning to Taranto from Avellino, having a passion for "the most beautiful villages in Italy", we stopped in Monteverde and in addition to the beauty of the place we were greeted by Carlo's kindness, professionalism and love for his profession. We dined exquisitely and abundantly, even paying a more than fair bill. If we ever find ourselves in these parts, we would be happy to return.

Piatti del posto fatti con prodotti genuini, con un'ottima scelta di vini e birra. Quest'ultima è ottima l'artigianale fatta in vari modi e per tutti i palati. Ci torneremo Nice place, situated in the center of Monteverde, one of the most beautiful villages in Irpinia, very welcoming with friendly staff. D	Davide Roselli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci torno volentieri nel locale di Carlo, per mangiare alcuni dei suoi piatti che varia durante l'anno e a secondo della stagionalità o la pizza nel forno a legna, ha una scelta di vini e la birra artigianale prodotta a Monteverde dal fratello. Andateci e visitate i vicoli del paese e in alcuni punti potrete vedere belle panoramiche. Il castello poi è la ciliegina sul tutto, da visitare. I gladly go back to Carlo's restaurant, to eat some of his dishes which varies during the year and according to the season or the pizza in the wood oven, he has a choice of wines and the craft beer produced in Monteverde by his brother. Go there and visit the alleys of the town and in some places you can see beautiful views. The castle is the icing on the whole, to visit.

Le portate, ben descritte, erano, in una sola parola: saporite. Il locale è caldo e accogliente. In sintesi, un luogo dove dove ritornare per meglio conoscere e apprezzare la cucina e la semplicità di questi "uomini e donne di confine". Il prezzo lo definirei più che onesto. We had the pleasure of enjoying healthy cuisine with top quality raw materials. Carlo, welcomed us as if he had always known us. The dishes, well described, were, in one word: tasty. Approfitto suggerendo di visitare il castello e il suo borgo.
