S	Sarah Biemer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are so many things to say about Podere Cunina. More than exceeded our expectations. We were only there 2 nights and I wish it had been many more. If we are lucky enough to be back in Tuscany in the future, Podere Cunina will be our destination! We stayed in the Salix apartment. Beautiful with modern amenities but historic, rustic charm and decor. The family of Silvana & Piergiorgio and Marcello were so welcoming. Such a warm greeting when we arrived, provided for our morning coffee and toast - we were heading out early the next morning for a bike ride in Montalcino and wine tour. We did that through Anima Toscana SRL. I'd highly recommend that also if you're interested in seeing the wine country up close. Silvana and son Marcello also showed us a bit about how they harvest safron. I wish we had time to have seen more about their olive groves and honey production. I want to go back! It was truly amazing.

Romantic, gorgeous, quiet, clean, and friendly. Every day was a treat: long walks, drives to neighboring small towns... a day trip to Siena. And our landlords were super helpful and friendly.
A	Andrea Mahan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a wonderful place to experience the Italian countryside!! The dirt road leading up the hill did not prepare us for what we experienced on top. The 360' vista of Tuscan countryside took our breath away, especially at sunset. The air literally smelled sweet with all the Spanish Broom, Honeysuckle, Lavender, etc which is lovingly planted all around the grounds. Our beautiful villa apartment was comfortably furnished and met all our needs for a much needed relaxing 6 days after the whirlwind of Rome & Florence. We just loved being outside whether it was laying out by the pool or eating al fresco on our patio. The lights of nearby villages twinkle in the distance at night. We loved every minute of our stay!
V	Vince Dion on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to really experience Tuscany, you have to spend some time outside of the cities and towns and get into the beautiful countryside. Podere Cunina is the perfect place to have that experience. You have to drive about 7 minutes off of the main route on small dirt and gravel roads and climb a hill in the middle of farm land but the reward is being able to see 360 degree panoramic views of post card level natural beauty. Even though the weather was cooler than normal, it was still incredible. I could imagine it would be even more fun if it were warm enough to enjoy the pool. Giorgio, one of the owners, has a gift and passion for landscaping and has laid out the property so that there are little private areas for relaxing surrounded by pretty flowers and greenery everywhere. I can't say enough about the Freddi family who will give you a warm welcome and by the time you leave, you'll feel like family. I highly recommend the cooking class from their son Marcello, who is a very skilled and experienced chef who very patiently walks you through each step and takes the time to explain why everything is done and the science behind it. The property is conveniently located between several great day trips such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Siena and it's near Buonconvento and San Quirico to get groceries and other necessities. We will never forget our stay at Podere Cunina in Tuscany and I guarantee you won't either.
F	F Foerth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in apartment MORUS at Podere Cunina for two weeks in July 2019. It was the most lovely place to be amongst our many trips to Tuscany over the last ten years. Silvana and her family have undertaken an incredible effort to turn this historic building into such a beautiful site, with both the pure Tuscany farmhouse style which we like so much and at the same time very convenient. Just a few steps down the yard and you get to the pool with its gorgeous panoramic view - fantastic! The pool, the apartment and the complete property were very tidy and clean, simply well kept. Silvana and her family were very friendly hosts and we were glad to be given a brief look into the history of this farmhouse. We enjoyed our stay a lot and Podere Cunina is our first choice for vacation around Buonconvento. Mille grazie, Silvana :-) Greetings from Germany - Hope to be back some day! Ciao - Frank & family

D	Dan Leavitt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I, and our adult son, spent an amazing week at Podere Cunina and we would highly recommend this property to anyone planning to spend time in Tuscany. We stayed in the Morus apartment, which was perfect for us, and was beautifully decorated with really comfortable beds. The property and surrounding area is breathtaking and very convenient for day trips to other villages in Tuscany. We were also fortunate enough to take a cooking class from Marcello , which was a highlight both for learning some new recipes but also enjoying the food. If you are able to book an apartment for your visit, you will not be disappointed!
