Average quality of food and obsolete location, an encore of first courses was served on the same plate (mushroom risotto placed over the oil of the freshly finished casoncelli). Average price and very friendly staff, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Simple location like the dishes on the menu, a local cuisine with strong flavors, good and abundant. Recommended for spending a day with friends, savoring typical dishes of the Bergamo area. Definitely to try!

We found this place as a "fallback" of another farm but at the suggestion of friends. Delighted because otherwise I would never have known! Location surrounded by greenery and with convenient reserved parking. The place is really beautiful: in contact with the animals you can really appreciate the bucolic soul of the restaurant. We were 8 and the menu is fixed and very rich. The only drawback is that at the end of the meal you will explode! Appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, 2 first courses (casoncelli and mushroom risotto), 2 second courses (roast with EXCEPTIONAL polenta and grilled meat with baked potatoes), homemade desserts and cakes. All washed down with water and house wine. Every dish with the possibility of making an encore at will !!! The price of 32 € is incredibly advantageous from the point of view of the quality / price ratio. Super nice and friendly staff. In short, strategic recommended !!!

Sunday lunch with 5 friends, "La cascina" farmhouse found as an alternative to another farmhouse that is already full. A gentleman "welcomes" us to the parking lot who is a bit intimidating, there is a beautiful sun but a breeze, given the proximity to the animals in the stables and in the surrounding meadow and the temperature we desist from having lunch outside and we sit inside. The location is very simple, but clean and familiar. As soon as we are seated, we immediately start with house wine and homemade appetizers. Red wine ni, white wine similar to sustainable prosecco. Praise is given to the very fresh cheeses and to some of the cured meats, not all at the same level in terms of flavor, the pickled vegetables are also good even if different from the usual recipe for us in the South, particularly the taste of cotechino and polenta sautéed in the oven. Moving on to the first Bergamo-style casoncelli with a tasty stuffing of braised veal and excellent fresh pasta spread. For the risotto cooked al dente, the filling had excessive cheese in spite of the mushrooms. Roast veal and grilled meat truly exquisite, the meat melted in the mouth and our table definitely appreciated it with encores and tris. Tasty potatoes, perhaps again a little excessive cheese in the polenta. The cheeses at the end of the meal are excellent. Moving on to the trio desserts with strawberry jam tart, pineapple and strawberry cream tart, pineapple mimosa cake. Only note in this capacity, the lack of an alternative dessert for those allergic to strawberries or pineapple, given the repeated use of the ingredients. Coffee and amaro from the house of the order. A praise to the service, very kind and present, always ready for review .. Overall very full and satisfied at an honest price. We recommend ..
