P	Paolo Chiusano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cattedrale dedicata a Maria Assunta, è un luogo di intensa spiritualità. Situata nel centro storico cittadino di Acqui, è un perfetto connubbio di fede ed arte. All'interno si presenta a tre navate, con un'ampia cripta sotto l'altare maggiore. Nella navata di sinistra c'è la cappella dedicata a San Guido, il patrono di Acqui. Luogo dello spirito da visitare. Cathedral dedicated to Maria Assunta, it is a place of intense spirituality. Located in the historic city center of Acqui, it is a perfect combination of faith and art. Inside it has three naves, with a large crypt under the main altar. In the left aisle there is the chapel dedicated to San Guido, the patron saint of Acqui. Spiritual place to visit.
l	lodovico lod on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima Cattedrale! In questo momento di emergenza Covid-19 ci sono volontari che distribuiscono gel igienizzante all'ingresso della chiesa, prima delle S. Messe. Ottima cosa. Il patrimonio artistico contenuto è veramente pregevole: la cripta, il transetto, le cappelle laterali, gli affreschi, il chiostro, la sagrestia, il Trittico del Bermejo, il campanile, il portale....e potrei continuare ancora! Un luogo dove si può sostare, pregare e ritrovare anche un pochino sé stessi. Beautiful Cathedral! The artistic heritage contained is truly valuable: the crypt, the transept, the side chapels, the frescoes, the cloister, the sacristy, the Bermejo Triptych, the bell tower, the portal .... and I could go on and on! Stile romanico con campanile gotico del XV secolo, ha un interno in stile barocco a croce latina. Stupendo il trittico dell'Annunciazione di Bartolome' Bermejo, pittore catalano. Al disotto del presbiterio vi è la cripta dell'XII secolo divisa a navatelle da 98 colonne di marmo. The cathedral, which dominates the city, stands in the historic center of Acqui Terme, was begun in the 11th century and was completed in the 18th century. Romanesque style with a 15th century Gothic bell tower, it has a Latin cross baroque interior. The triptych of the Annunciation by Bartolome 'Bermejo, a Catalan painter, is wonderful. B	Bumble on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. Usually i don't really enjoy visiting churches, but this one surprised me. The decoration inside is beautiful and you can see a miniature version of the cathedral itself as well as an inner courtyard which isn't as special, but still pretty.
