 You don't expect it in the center of a city and instead it is there and it works as well, as well as making the square beautiful and special. Worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'acquedotto medioevale di Sulmona, costruito nel XIII secolo sotto il regno di Manfredi, ha avuto la funzione di condurre l'acqua nella Città di Sulmona superando un dislivello (attuale Piazza Garibaldi o del Mercato). Grande impatto architettonico con i suoi imponenti archi. Luogo da vedere venendo a Sulmona: ideale con il mercato nei giorni di mercato in Piazza (mercoledì e sabato).
The medieval aqueduct of Sulmona, built in the 13th century under the reign of Manfredi, had the function of carrying water to the city of Sulmona overcoming a difference in height (now Piazza Garibaldi or del Mercato). Great architectural impact with its imposing arches. Place to see when coming to Sulmona: ideal with the market on market days in the square (Wednesday and Saturday).
