L' Abbazia di S.Maria di Corazzo, è un'imponente struttura antica, i suoi ruderi ci insegnano quanto lavoro è stato fatto e quanta esperienza avessero i nostri Avi. Ci vorrebbe un po' più di cura nel mantenerlo in piedi e pulirlo dalle erbacce da chi ne ha la competenza e nello stesso tempo chi lo visita di rispettarlo. Calabria is a wonderful treasure chest, its opening is free, there are no padlocks, anyone can open it to see inside its beauties, its most beautiful and important values of its territory. The Abbey of S. Maria di Corazzo is an imposing ancient structure, its ruins teach us how much work has been done and how much experience our Avi had. It would take a little more care in keeping it standing and clearing it of weeds by those who have the expertise and at the same time those who visit it to respect it.

Peccato che l'amministrazione non abbia investito nel restauro degli elevati e nella valorizzazione del complesso archeologico. Beautiful example of a medieval Benedictine abbey. It is a pity that the administration has not invested in the restoration of the elevations and in the enhancement of the archaeological complex.

A 100 mt vi è un parcheggio e spesso una volontaria racconta ai visitatori aneddoti molto interessanti una volta raggiunta l'abbazia. Magical and suggestive place not difficult to reach. È a circa 200 metri dalla strada, sotto l'area parcheggi, ma ci si può arrivare anche con la macchina fin lì, io, non sapendolo sono scesa a piedi. Sul posto c'era una signora molto gentile che, per puro amore del posto, mi ha guidata nei vari punti dell'abbazia e spiegato un po' della storia. Spero che gli amministratori locali sappiano valorizzarla e prendersi cura di così tanta bellezza Enchanting place, to visit at least once. It is poorly maintained but keeps well. In estate si può assistere a eventi come concerti presentazioni di libri e altre attività organizzate da istituzioni e associazioni culturali della zona. C’è anche una fontanella dalla quale sgorga acqua freschissima e un cartello con su scritto: “Qui è vietato calpestare i sogni” A magical place, among the green Calabrian mountains, where time seems to stand still. In summer you can attend events such as concerts, book presentations and other activities organized by institutions and cultural associations in the area. There is also a fountain from which very fresh water flows and a sign that reads: "Here it is forbidden to trample dreams"
