Foothills of the Alps. Nature here glorifies the Lord with all imaginable colors and forms. At the foot of the Sacro Monte is the "Garden City", as the Italians call Varese, the city that gave shelter to many of our compatriots. Here the heart of our Parish beats - the Temple in the name of the holy noble Prince Alexander Nevsky. How many of us, those who found consolation in this small living church, wept everything that was painful in front of the miraculous image of the Most Holy Theotokos - "see my misfortune, see my sorrow ..."? .. "Shelter" is the image from which the Mother of the Lord our looks into our souls, healing their wounds. And as if the light of divine love pours out from Her sad gaze ... And it's no longer scary. The Lord is merciful. Do not be afraid, go to him! Go as a prodigal son with a repentant head, and he, the good Father, will accept you and nourish you and comfort you ... Do a multitude of people oppress you - act like Zacchaeus, just to see Him! Or, as if bleeding, grab at least the edge of His robe ... People come here from all the neighborhoods and even from other regions .. Our Father, Father Vladimir, will listen to everyone, sympathize with everyone, give everyone good advice. And you are no longer a leaf that has not fallen from a branch, which has been carried by gusts of wind to who knows where. Are you at home. Here the heart finds peace, and the soul, like a baby, is drawn to the Creator, forgetting about the earthly. I am grateful to God for finding our Temple, our Parish. How many things, by the grace of God, he helped me to go through ... I was fortunate enough to be in the "Temple in the name of the holy noble Prince Alexander Nevsky" several times. When I came to Varese. The temple itself is small, but very cozy. Great choir.
