Very good gourmet pizza with mortadella and pistaches

Best pizza and staff ever!

Best pizza. You can see how it's made. For kids it was very intresting.

The calzone was burned on the outside and nearly devoid of meat and cheese on the inside. The pizza was undercooked and the toppings were sparse. This place is way over rated in my opinion.

Excellent pizza and superb wild boar. Lasagna was a bit disappointing.

After staying in lovely San Vincenzo in 2015 and 2016, we came back in 2018. It's still our absolute favorite restaurant in town. Ate here 6 times in seven days (because it's closed on mondays). The food is fantastic. But it's not only that....it's the whole package. Absolutely great staff, an atmosphere that is welcoming....you'll feel at home immediatly. Great food....convenient location. And due to really low prices (and big portions) an almost unbeatable value! The staff are perfect hosts and made us feel welcome and almost part of the family. It's a cosy restaurant with lots of locals, some italian tourists and the occasional international tourists. This might be different in high season....dunno. The food is real down-to-earth homecooked Italian Food. Pasta, Pizza, Seafood....and more. And it's all cooked to perfection. The food: Seafood Crostini: nice selection of six different crostinins (pulpo, anchovies, artichokes, etc.) Our favourite: cream cheese and anchovie with lemon cest. Prosciutto with Mozzarella: great meat, light and milky cheese. A good starter. Homemade lasagne: might looks small, but is filling. Nice sauce and tasty pasta dough. Pizza with extram Parmesan and Truffle Oil: Nice load of cheese and yummy truffle flavour. Seafood Pasta: A real classic....always tasty with lots of mussels and Shrimp! Tagliatelle with Boar: Good pasta with minced Boar. Great Flavours! Boar Stew: Good meat in a hearty stew sauce! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms: Lots of mushrooms, nice and fresh Spaghetti with Clams: On par the the great Seafood Pasta. Mussels with Pecorino: With a light sauce. Might sound like an unusual pairing, but it's a perfect match - mussels and cheese! And for dessert a real good homemade Cheesecake. Lighter than the american version, but really really tasty. Available with different toppings. Our choice: Frutta di Bosco. A great great restaurant. Lovely staff. Nice, friendly and lively customers and atmosphere. Low prices....high quality food. A great wine selection. Starting from about 10 Euro a bottle! 1/2 liter housewine from 4 Euro! Also some nice local wine from close-by Bolgheri. And the place is also dog-friendly! Which is important to us (and our Bulldog). If you only have one night and one place to eat. THIS is the one (open dinner only....with few exceptions). You can also Take-Out Pizza. Thanks again tot the staff for making our stay in San Vincenzo once again perfect .... thanks to this lovely place!
