★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i bought an admittably cheap Amarone (Gran Signoria 2012 at € 14) produced by this Cantina in the supermarket of Negrar just out of curiosity. You can't expect miracles at this price of course, but it turned out to be not only the worst Amarone I ever tasted but also worse than a decent Valpolicella that you can get for 6 €. After this experience 2 things seem to be clear: To get Amarone that is worth drinking spend good money (at leat € 25 i'd say) at a decent winery
