Assolutamente consigliato!
Absolutely recommended! A boat trip to the Pelagos sanctuary, in search of cetaceans. We were lucky enough to see numerous striped dolphins and two sperm whales, which undisturbed let themselves be admired calmly in all their beauty. The crew is very prepared, with a marine biologist who explains in detail what is seen. An experience to do! I will definitely be back.

Participation is highly recommended. The team was very nice and dedicated and the tour impressive. We saw a lot of dolphins and the biologist on board told a lot of interesting details. They gave each other a lot of effort to show us whales, but just did not feel like and have plunged :-) Thanks for this nice day :-)

In itself it was fine. Staff was friendly. The rules about Covid-19 were strictly observed. We saw dolphins. However, the boat is too big to observe the animals up close. That should be aware. You should also be aware that it wobbled quite a bit even in super nice weather, several people felt bad. It was also a bit confusing that for about 5 sentences in Italian, often only one sentence was explained in English. Maybe it was because most of the tourists because of Covid-19 were the Italians themselves and in the normal case it looks different. But that irritated us.

I recommend starting from Camogli (with a stop in Recco and Nervi) in order to see the coast up to Genoa, the ancient port, from where the real excursion starts. About 20 miles from the coast we saw 2 fin whales followed for about 20 minutes at 80/150 meters from the boat. Chosen the sunset option with night return to Camogli and a good aperitif on board.

Not recommended - boats didn‘t leave as scheduled, they cancelled some boats on short notice

You will most likely see just dolphins and there is 7 hours waiting and 1 hour dolphins ratio. But we liked it anyway. It takes more than 8 hours from Camogli but on the way back you can leave at Genova and see the city and continue by train (2.8 eur).
