Eine freundliche Bedienung und ein gemütliches Ambiente runden den Aufenthalt ab. On the second visit, the dishes from the lunch menu were also very tasty. Die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke ist gut. Die Preise sind, wie an so einem zentralen Ort nicht anders zu erwarten, leider nicht günstig. Das sind sie aber inzwischen in ganz Kaltern nicht mehr. Eine bedenkliche Entwicklung... Nice restaurant right on the market square in Kaltern. Here you can still enjoy the sun until 4 p.m. at the end of October ;-) The service was attentive and very friendly. The quality of the food and drinks is good. As you would expect in such a central location, the prices are unfortunately not cheap. But they are no longer in the whole of Kaltern. A worrying development ...

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs mehrere Male dort und kamen immer wieder (die letzten negativen Kritiken sind einfach falsch und realitätsfern). Gerade weil die Speisen qualitativ sehr hochwertig und stets frisch serviert sind (die Bilder zeigen: wir haben uns insbesondere in das täglich wechselnde Risotto Gericht verliebt?), ist das Preis- Leistungs-Niveau positiv hervorzuheben. Wer im Inneren gleich links blickt, kann den Koch bei der Arbeit zusehen und es ist beeindruckend, was aus dieser kleinen Küche gezaubert wird. Und bzgl. der Weine sei gesagt: wer genau hinschaut, lernt, dass das Weinhaus Punkt die offizielle "Verkostungsstelle" der Weingenossenschaft Kaltern ist. Wer diese lokalen Wein Highlights erleben möchte, sollte bereit sein, etwas mehr zu zahlen, als in einem x - beliebigen Lokal. Also: 5 Sterne von mir und ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal vor Ort! A wonderful place for a relaxed culinary evening in the heart of Kaltern! We were there several times during our vacation and kept coming back (the last negative reviews are just wrong and unrealistic). Precisely because the food is of high quality and always served fresh (the pictures show: we fell in love with the risotto dish, which changes daily täglich), the price-performance level should be positively emphasized. If you look inside to the left, you can watch the cook at work and it is impressive what is conjured up from this small kitchen. And with regard to the wines: if you look closely, you will learn that the Punkt Weinhaus is the official "tasting point" of the Kaltern wine cooperative. If you want to experience these local wine highlights, you should be prepared to pay a little more than in any other restaurant. So: 5 stars from me and I'm looking forward to the next time there!
