Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Possiamo solo consigliarlo, posto meraviglioso. Torneremo sicuramente! Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Il staff è molto cordiale e molto preparato. Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr süffiger Hauswein aus lokaler Produktion. Die Kalbsleber venezianischer Art war Spitzenklasse!! Quaint, very cozy and urbümlich furnished restaurant with friendly and relaxed landlords. Delicious food, very tasty house wine from local production. The calf's liver Venetian style was top class !!

La scelta delle portate è ristretta a una piccola scelta (5-6 piatti diversi tra primi e secondi, che variano a seconda dei periodi): questo perché i piatti sono freschi e, come nel caso degli spatzel, fatti a mano. Ricette veramente squisite e ambiente suggestivo. Da evitare se non vi piace l'erba cipollina. Great place where you can eat typical specialties at a good price. The choice of dishes is restricted to a small choice (5-6 different dishes between first and second, which vary according to the periods): this is because the dishes are fresh and, as in the case of the spatzel, handmade. Truly exquisite recipes and evocative surroundings. Avoid it if you don't like chives.

Meine Eltern wollten in dem Lokal Wein Kaufen und bekamen noch nicht einmal eine Probe von diesem (günstig war dieser auch nicht ). Die Wirtin war allgemein sehr unfreundlich und wirkte genervt. Nicht zu empfehlen At the beginning I was rudely fumbled by the landlady for not taking pictures of her although I only photographed the place. My parents wanted to buy wine in the restaurant and did not even get a sample of this (it was not cheap). The landlady was generally very rude and seemed annoyed. Not recommendable

Wonderful sausage / cheese platter with wonderful house wine. We always go there, if we wait for the Mendelbahn or otherwise. Just nice to törggelen.
M	Manne S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind seit einigen Jahren in Kaltern und kennen inzwischen einige sehr gute Keller und Lokale. Dieser gehört nicht dazu. Daher müssen wir leider diese schlechte Bewertung abgeben. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis muss man als Dreist bezeichnen. Zwei Beispiele: Den angebotenen und überteuerten Hauswein bekommt man billigst im Diskounter in Kaltern. Der angebotene Törggel-Teller (für 20€) war eher ein Tellerchen und ist eine Beleidigung für diese tolle Tradition. Wir haben hungrig das Lokal verlassen. Zusätzlich muss man die Qualität des Törggel-Tellers als mittelmäßig und mit Abstand schlechtesten in Kaltern bezeichnen. Der Wirt war wortkark und absolut unterkühlt. Vielleicht hatte er auch einen schlechten Tag. Eine Speise-/Getränkekarte (Preise) wurde nicht vorgelegt. Speisen (und Preise) findet man auf einer aufgestellten Tafel im Lokal. Die Lokalität ist urig und gemütlich. Insgesamt scheint hier eine gewisse Betriebsblindheit eingesetzt zu haben. Daher möchte man den Inhabern nur wärmstens empfehlen, einmal über den eigenen Tellerrand zu schauen. Wie man es besser macht, dafür gibt es in Kaltern wirklich zahlreiche positive Beispiele. The price / performance ratio has to be described as bold. Two examples: You can get the offered and overpriced house wine cheaply in the discounter in Kaltern. The Törggel plate offered (for € 20) was more of a plate and is an insult to this great tradition. We left the restaurant hungry. In addition, the quality of the Törggel plate has to be described as mediocre and by far the worst in Kaltern. The host was wordless and absolutely hypothermic. Maybe he was having a bad day too. A menu / drinks menu (prices) was not presented. Meals (and prices) can be found on a blackboard in the restaurant. The location is quaint and cozy. Overall, a certain operational blindness seems to have set in here. Therefore, one would like to warmly recommend the owners to think outside the box. How to do it better, there are really numerous positive examples in Kaltern.

Die Wirtzleute, sehr aufs wohl der Gäste bedacht, was die Stimmung hebt und die Verweildauer hinauszögert. Schöne alte Gasträume mit schönen alten Bildern der Weinlese. Sehr zu empfehlen! One of the really good old inns in Kaltern. The food is always served fresh and hot. The wine (house brand) to be recommended. The innkeepers, very careful of the guests, which lifts the mood and delays the length of stay. Beautiful old guest rooms with beautiful vintage old pictures. We recommend!

Haben den Jägerkeller bereits vor vielen Jahren bei unserem Urlaub in Kaltern entdeckt und lieben gelernt. Es gibt Weine aus eigenem Anbau. Am besten gefielen uns die kalten Speisen: Speckbrettl, Bergkäse, Kaminwurzen... und ein lecker Bier oder einen Wein dazu. Super lecker... genau das richtige nach einer langen Wanderung. Aber es gibt auch ausgewählte warme Speisen, die ebenfalls sehr lecker sind und ein Genuss für den Gaumen. 2017 waren wir wieder hier. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Typical wine bar with a beautiful courtyard garden in the heart of St. Anton in Caldaro. We discovered and loved the Jägerkeller many years ago during our holiday in Caldaro. There are wines from own cultivation. The best we liked the cold dishes: bacon board, mountain cheese, smoked sausage ... and a delicious beer or a wine. Super delicious ... just right after a long hike. But there are also selected hot dishes, which are also delicious and a treat for the palate. In 2017 we were back here. We have felt very comfortable here.
