Die Weine sind absolute Spitzenklasse, die im internationalen Vergleich mehr als ebenbürtig sind mit den großen Topweingütern. Hier ist ein Weinmacher am Werk, der eine sehr schöne Stilistik entworfen hat und genau weiß wo seine Weine hin müssen. Insbesondere der Sauvignon Blanc, der Lagrein und der überragende rote Amistar Cuvée haben uns begeistert. Weiter so! Winery and cellar tour with an exciting sample by Stefan Sölva, the very personable owner of the winery. The wines are absolutely top class, which in an international comparison are more than equal to the big top wineries. Here is a winemaker at work who has designed a very beautiful style and knows exactly where his wines have to go. We were particularly enthusiastic about the Sauvignon Blanc, the Lagrein and the outstanding red Amistar Cuvée. Keep it up!

Und dann trinkt Stephan Sölva auch noch gerne einen Pfälzer Riesling! WIr kommen gerne wieder in das schöne Kaltern. Excellent wines, a very nice and knowledgeable winemaker, very friendly, great outdoor seating, everything to enjoy and feel good. And Stephan Sölva also likes to drink a Palatinate Riesling! We'd love to come back to beautiful Kaltern.

Hier muss man unbedingt vorbei gehen wenn man im Kaltern ist. Danke! Excellent wines, very eloquent owner. I was allowed to taste different wines and learned a lot about their production. He is a warm and kind man, it’s a unique experience to learn about wine and winery from a 10th generation winery owner. The tour included a walk in the vineyard and the wine cellar and also tasting the wine and apple ciders for the children. Thank you Stephan for our unforgettable time.
