★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really can't say enough about this factory tour. Marco has an encyclopedic knowledge of glassmaking and will show you the whole process from beginning to end. Absolutely fascinating and so much fun. You will leave with a deep appreciation for Murano glass, and when you see how much knowledge and work goes into it, you will never again think it is expensive! Roberto, the founder, is the youngest glassmaster in Murano and the passion and enthusiasm of his team is palpable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a tour in advance. We saw the hot shop (melting and forming) as well as the cold shop (cutting and polishing). During our visit the production was in full effect, so we got to see all the different steps from pickup of the glass up to the annealing oven.
The factory has a small but diverse shop where you can buy some of the pieces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, hands on glass blowing lesson *perfect* for my 3 teens on a visit to Murano. Could not be more welcoming, warm, thoughtful and instructive. Not to mention seriously impressive to watch them do their incredible work. We are still talking about the experience weeks later.

They all work in harmony to create beautiful glass pieces. Don’t miss this place while you’re in Murano.

They could not have been kinder to my five year old son, who now wants to be a glass blower when he grows up. This is not a tourist trap at all, it’s a group of devoted artisans who know their stuff and are happy to share. Do not miss.

The crew at Wave Murano Glass is absolutely incredible in so many ways. We did a workshop with them and made our own drinking glasses, and had a tour of their factory and showroom.
Firstly, their work is stunning. You can immediately identify the craftsmanship and detail, both in their custom pieces and production line... not surprising as this is a world class team who is incredibly passionate. We purchased a vase on site, and will be lifelong customers.
As for the workshop, it was a one of a kind experience. The team, in traditional Italian style, welcomes you immediately. Our teacher was Benjamin. He was phenomenal. He made us feel at ease, and had tremendous patience as he took us through the process. It’s not easy. It’s hot. It’s intense. But its so rewarding and incredible. Benjamin had us do every part of the process, while staying side by side to make sure we didn’t mess it up too badly. We left having a tremendous about of respect for these guys and their craft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely different from the usual sales pitch glass blowing demos. Wave people simply allow you to watch while they do their work at the furnace. People are super friendly and answer your questions with a smile. The whole experience is free and takes place in a glass factory, which does not have the usual show room full of trinkets but just a few small pieces if you really want to buy something. Otherwise they're happy just to share their work and the art of their young company. Absolutely fantastic!
