Probably the most famous square in the city! Has many restaurants, kiosks and the cathedral around it. Is always flocking with tourists since it's a good place to spend come quality time with good food and ambience!

The old cathedral, together with the Walther Place, are the most important symbols of the town Bolzano. The multitude of flowers, and the citadel of the surrounding mountains, create a very specific atmosphere, which hardly impress, to all the tourists.

Bolzano is a wonderfully picturesque town to explore and wander about in. The laneways are charming and architecture stunning. Christmas markets are a highlight. Transport in and out of the town is a breeze and a great stepping off place for smaller towns in the region. Really glad I took the time to visit.

Definitely one of the most attractive places in Bolzano/Bozen city, to have a coffee or Ice cream, to have a walk around and chill. Liked it!

Beautiful platz with adorable church. There are several cafes and restaurants with tables where you can sit and watch the people pass by. Pizza was a must, and affordable at most restaurants in the square. We we're not here long but it was well worth the stop. There is underground parking directly underneath the platz that I'm sure you can find on Google maps.

The buildings are a bit pedestrian but if you're interested in seeing an architectural style that is nearly unique in Italy, good place to visit. This part of Italy is much more influenced by the Austrian and the Germanic. Love to walk throughout the town seeing this part of Italy. From November 24 to January 6 takes place most beautiful Christmas Market on the Italy. Visit it ??? !

We can't here to visit Bolzano Christmas market and am so glad we did. This was one of our favorite markets, nice variety of ornaments, little stores and great food and drink options. In particular, I loved the molten cheese sandwich and the Bombardini in a chocolate waffle cup! Parking was easy and you get a bracelet after you show your green pass. Highly recommended! We drove 3 hours to get here and am so grateful we did!
