★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a boat trip from Cefalu to Stromboli.
It was a little pricey.... We tried to find a cheaper price £70+ per person. At the last minute we were texted that the boat had and issue ( apparent local Trick,) we were taken on an hour coach journey to a further away harbour. Then we took a boat to Stromboli. That was great. Some saw a ?. We saw volcano flame and smoke. FUMEROLLES. The island was great. All amazing but we paid for a boat journey and most of it was bus... So be aware of this little issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences in my life so far. Don't be fooled by the beautiful sunset/sunrise text, the most beautiful thing up there is the erupting volcano. We arrived at the peak in dark, and to see the exploding lava in front of you is just something that you're thinking you don't want to see but you definitely do. We went with Stromboli adventures office, and although there was rain and bad weather, by the time we got up the sky was clear. So cheers Stromboli adventures.

After arriving by boat (already some spectacular views), filled with the view of the majestic mountain of the volcano, you just sit on the calm, sandy beach, listening to the seagulls and the sea, treasuring the most beautiful pebbles and the shimmering, sparkling black sand, and then suddenly you hear the volcano loudly blow a puff of smoke (white or brown) then again, every 10-20 minutes... You must be there to believe it. Def want to come back to see it at night too. ?
