Der Besuch lohnt! A professionally designed museum with a demonstration of the water-powered saw is one thing, the very knowledgeable museum director (Dr. of Biology), who is happy to answer all questions, is another. Well worth the visit!

Auch die Erklärungen zur Holzwirtschaft und die schön restaurierte venezianische Säge sind gut aufbereitet. A beautiful visitor center in the national park with a fine exhibition about the wildlife children. Well explained and yet scientifically sound. The explanations on the timber industry and the beautifully restored Venetian saw are also well prepared.

Per visitare il piccolo museo si paga 3€ a persona e la segheria al momento del nostro passaggio non era purtroppo in funzione Entrance to ask you for information about the path of the centuries-old larches ... I was given the information we needed ... To visit the small museum you pay € 3 per person and the sawmill at the time of our passage was unfortunately not in function

Er machte uns auf viele Sachen aufmerksam, die wir sonst nicht beachtet hätten. Insgesamt war es ein super Tag, den wir gerne wiederholen werden. We were out and about in the Stelvio Nature Park with snowshoes. Our mountain guide Robert was very competent. He pointed out many things to our attention that we would otherwise not have noticed. All in all, it was a great day that we will be happy to repeat.

Like the rest of the local tourism they only really cater for German and Italian speakers. On the day we visited the stair lift was broken making the visit a challenge for those with limited mobility, plus the toilets were closed. Note, the Ultental guest card does not give free entrance merely a 10% reduction on the entrance fee.
