Here you can find information about the Stilfser Joch National Park, the possibility of booking tours and a small exhibition on birds. The employee was super friendly and tried very hard to bring us closer to the national park with information and tips. The exhibition about birds is very nicely done. There are a lot of preparations and information on the subject of birds and birds in particular in the national park. A few "fan articles" are also offered at super fair prices.

Very small but very very amazing visitor center. Many species of birds, divided and explained by ecological categories. Lots of information on the reintroduction of the bearded vulture. Excellent organization of the exhibition. Sincere congratulations. The cost of 1 euro is definitely underestimated for the information received.

At the avimundus Visitor Center, next to general information on the Stelvio National Park, it is possible to obtain a complete overview of the birds that populate the territory of the park, their habitats and their diversified biology. The centerpiece of the permanent exhibition is the ornithological collection of Hansjörg Götsch, which the Municipality of Silandro and the Stelvio National Park have obtained on loan. The different bird species are clearly presented, from eggs to plumage to song, and associated with their habitat, so that all information relating to nesting and breeding is provided. The new avimundus exhibition areas are also dedicated to the bearded vulture. Disappeared from the Alps about 100 years ago, it was reintroduced in 2017 as part of an international project, in the Alto Adige region in the upper Martello valley. Every year, if the broods are successful, guided tours are organized to see live the first flight attempts of the young bearded vultures. Other protagonists of the permanent exhibition are bats.
