Traditional restaurant in the historical center of Savona. Simple place with the perfect "trattoria" style. Food is great, especially Farinata, both chickpeas and wheat one. Price is adequate

The best days of the famous Vino e Farinata are behind them. I had to book a table by phone in advance and was told that my slot is from 7 pm to 8:15 pm precisely. But when I arrived there at 7, they were not ready for guests. Once they let me in, they gave me a table closest to the kitchen and the passage, and I was not allowed to choose a different one (being the first guest with an empty restaurant). It did not smell like food inside, only like chlorine and fried staff. The paper menu was on the wall next to the table and impossible to read. When I tried to take it to see closer, the waitress screamed that I was not allowed to touch it. At which point, I decided to leave.

Simply amazing. 6 euro for a farinata We spent 26€ for 2 dressed farinatas, 1 bottle of water and 1 coffee. The booking is not mandatory, but warmly suggested. You get the risk to switch to take way. Debit/credic card is accepted.

Best place around to get some of the freshest fish and authentic meals (to the region). I always try to come here when I'm in the area.

It is my first visit in a Farinata, however It was a nice experience. The farinata, the seafood and everything else that we ordered was good. The staff was also fast and friendly. Definitely a nice option for a traditional Italian dish.

Simple and spartan in its interior but certainly not for quality and taste. I enjoyed every bite of this local tradition, the farinata and panissa (respectively a wood oven cooked savory chickpea cake - which here is served also in its barley version - and a fried version). They can serve you plain, or topped with different things, from onion to gorgonzola. Choice is limited, and I'd say it's good because otherwise there would be a need of some assist to get out from the place since the portion are very generous. The best part are the roasted peppers, cooked in the oven and done at the moment. Covid19 related, this is the very first restaurant since this whole story started that I've seen fully respecting the rules.

Delicious! From outside does look like a small shop, but is bigger then you think and a typical place with very good farinata
