It would be a very nice place, too bad that it says to close at midnight instead if you enter at 10 pm it says that it is closing. He obviously has a lot of money!

Peccato, chi lavora in cucina se la cava bene, i piatti sono gustosi e le materie prime scelte con cura. Il problema, che sicuramente non è tale per tutti, è il costo lievitato negli ultimi anni. Spendere quasi 40€ per un pranzo ordinando un piatto unico con contorno (la battuta di bue che vedete in foto), un calice di buon barolo, acqua e caffè mi sembra un pelo troppo. Ma tant'è, basta scegliere altro no? Localino piccolo ma curatissimo nei dettagli, personale spiritoso, e molto loquace:-) Siamo arrivate piuttosto tardi e la cucina era ormai chiusa, ma gentilissimi ci hanno preparato ugualmente crostini di alici ed un tagliere di salumi. Il vino....che dire... assolutamente ottimo. Abbiamo trascorso un oretta davvero splendida ottimo qualità del cibo, ottimo vino, una location che incorniciava il tutto in una splendida piazza, cosa si vuole di più dalla vita. The 5 stars next time I go there, because I will definitely be back. Small place but with great attention to detail, witty and very talkative staff :-) We arrived quite late and the kitchen was now closed, but very kind they still prepared anchovy croutons and a platter of cold cuts. The wine .... what to say ... absolutely excellent. We spent a truly splendid hour, excellent quality of food, excellent wine, a location that framed everything in a beautiful square, what more could you want from life.

Sia il cibo che i vino proposto non valgono certo i prezzi paurosi proposti alla carta. Oltre al fatto che le proposte non sono nulla di particolare. Quantità modeste. Non è finta qua: nonostante fosse sabato sera fossimo arrivati a cena per le 21:30 circa (nessuno in fila fuori dalla porta) il servizio è stato a farci finire di mangiare e cacciarci via! Pietanza, dolce e caffè tutto servito senza lasciare nemmeno un attimo di pausa per potersi prepare alla portata successiva (così come dovrebbe essere quando si va fuori a cena, si spendono soldi e si vuole giustamente godere della serata del cibo e del vino). Il titolare chiacchierava rumorosamente con altri clienti (va beh). Complessivamente è un No assoluto. Si spaccia per locale di nicchia ed elegante quando non lo è. Avremmo fatto meglio ad andare alla birreria molto più semplice che gli sta affianco. Pleasant place as a location, intimate and small. We were immediately attracted to it. It is not fake here: although it was Saturday night we arrived for dinner at about 21:30 (no one in line outside the door) the service was to make us finish eating and chase us away! Food, dessert and coffee all served without leaving even a moment of pause to prepare for the next course (as it should be when you go out for dinner, spend money and rightly want to enjoy the evening of food and wine). The proprietor chatted loudly with other customers (okay). Overall it is an absolute No. It passes itself off as a niche and elegant place when it is not. We would have done better to go to the much simpler brewery next door.
