SoloSicily were friendly and professional from the first moment we got in touch. We felt very comfortable booking with them and they provided lots of helpful information. We were so excitited to get to our villa, and when we did we were so happy! Renée was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. The pool was amazing as were the views. We really loved the colourful tiles. Sicily's countryside was very beautiful, much more than we expected, and the beaches were great. Thank you for a super holiday. We already want to come back, either to Renée again, or maybe another villa!

Villa Parmina - Taormina. Our family had an excelent week and stay in Villa Parmina. Perfect situated above the town, and the villa itself imposing and the very best frame for our stay at Sicily. I will not hesitate to call the Villa Parmina a precious stone at Sicily. The booking through SoloSicily was a very, very good experience - the introduction on the website of the villa, which corresponded perfectly with the realities - all the services and informations up to and during our stay - everything was perfect. We will give SoloSicily and the Villa Parmina our very best recommendations.

We love our stay at Appoline. The place is very close to the beach and you feel like having your own private beach. There is another little beach further on where the closest beach is but you can get there on foot for 5-10 mins. We love the garden, the roof top specially the outdoor kitchen and the BBQ area. It is big enough for the children to explore. The pool was too cold for children to get in towards the end of October. . It would be nice if it is a heated pool. The hosts Mariana and Francesco were very kind and attentive to our needs. We forgot to buy certain essentials on a Sunday after the shops were close and couldn’t get them elsewhere. Marina very kindly brought them to Appoline when I desperately needed them – life saver! We asked for photographer recommendation as we were keen to have some family photos taken on holiday. Milo the photographer recommended by Mariana and Francesco was amazing! Highly recommended if you need some wedding or family photos taken. Francesco recommended some good wine for us to try which we really appreciated. The welcome pack full of essentials like milk and pasta on our arrival was always appreciated after a long journey. There were sufficient stocks for washing up liquids, dishwasher tablets. It is not like some of the places that we stayed that virtually you have to buy everything like salt and sugar. The area is remoted than I thought. It is very rural and very quiet. In comparison I probably prefer Cefalu. But it is different and worth exploring. Appoline is close to various towns around. We went to Noto, Mordica, and Ispica. We particularly enjoyed Noto and Mordica. This is our second booking with SoloSicilly and we love their service. They are always very responsive on emails and texts and tried to offer help and advice as much as they can. I wish they don’t just offer service in Sicily. They are very pleasant to deal with from enquiry to booking to giving feedback. Thanks again and I wish you could you find more nicer properties for us holiday makers.

We were absolutely delighted with our holiday. In advance, we were very grateful to Stefania and the team for their help in making the right choice and then making sure that we had all the information that we needed before the holiday. They always responded very promptly and helpfully to any queries. We were impressed by the professionalism of the organisation. Fiore d'Arancio more than met our expectations. This was a special holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to enjoy our time there with our three adult children and their partners (8 adults in all). The whole family agreed that it was the best villa that we had ever stayed in. The setting of villa and garden was all beautifully laid out. The pool was a perfect size and was very well-maintained. It was really easy to get into and was a wonderful central feature of the villa. There were a variety of outside sitting spaces which suited everyone. We particularly liked the outside dining room and kitchen area - including the fresh herbs growing just outside - and made full use of this! What made the holiday so special though was the wonderfully warm and generous welcome that we received from the family - Donatella, Stefano and Davide. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful food and gifts that were waiting for us on arrival - the fresh fruit and vegetables, the bottles of olive oil and wine, and particularly for the absolutely delicious pizza slices, pasta salad made with home-made pesto, arancini and panelle, and beautiful orange tart, all made by Donatella. And this generosity was just one demonstration of their complete generosity of character. They were so attentive and concerned that we had a good time. We were particularly grateful to Stefano as well for sorting out a misunderstanding that we had had with a parking ticket in Sciacca! Everything was done with such great grace and warmth. It really made us feel that we were in a place where we were known and welcomed, rather than just renting an anonymous space for the fortnight. We loved it and we loved them! Davide told us that there is a Sicilian saying that visitors cry three times: first when they arrive and see the beauty of the place, second when they have to leave that beauty, and the third time when they get on the weighing scales when they get home! That was certainly true for us. We are so grateful to Solo Sicily and to the Lupo family for a wonderful holiday full of very special memories - thank you!

A most wonderful family holiday at Villa Barresa. As a celebration of our daughter’s 40th we had a family holiday at Villa Barresa in September 2019. The villa exceeded our expectations - it offered elegance, comfort, charm and spaciousness within the historic villa. Art, antiques, sculpture graced the historic house. Yet it also had all the modern amenities we required. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome hamper was generous. Bedrooms were spacious, comfortable beds with good linen. There are plenty of bathrooms which we appreciated with three generations sharing the villa. The air conditioning was effective when we used it but it was not necessary most of the time as the interiors were comfortably cool. The gardens are large and beautiful, well kept and lush with trees and foliage. There are plentiful lawns. The large pool was a highlight of the holiday and thoroughly enjoyed by us all but probably most by our grandchildren! There was plenty of seating and loungers to relax in the gardens. A delight was to eat our meals together ‘al fresco’ and the long trestle tables served this purpose perfectly under the large covered terrace. An unexpected bonus was the huge games room with table tennis, volley ball and other games equipment for our use. Villa Barresa is in a very quiet, rural location. We enjoyed privacy, nature, quietness in these beautiful surroundings. The only sounds were those of nature - birds, cicadas. The darkness at night was wonderful providing a nightly show of the cosmos. The villa is set within a working orange farm. Early each morning a caretaker cleaned the pool, removed our refuse and recycling and maintained the garden. This service was discreet. As a working farm the owner and his son were present on occasions to manage farm business in the offices and building adjacent to the villa. They offered helpful information and advice on restaurants, places to visit. They were very respectful of our privacy but talking with them was a pleasure and enhanced the experience of the Sicilian visit. My husband and I slept in the tower bedroom, reached by external stairs from the first floor terrace. Etna could be seen from the steps and on one occasion late at night, the glow of red fire could be seen at her summit. Quite wonderful. We cannot recommend Villa Barresa more highly. We very much hope to visit again. Thank you Solo Sicily for the attentive service you provided from our first enquiry onwards. Our queries were always answered promptly, help was given on care hire. We appreciated the flexibility offered on rental period from Saturdays to Fridays. We have the happiest memories of our family holiday in this beautiful villa in Sicily and do not hesitate to recommend it and Solo Sicily to others. Thank you.

We stayed in Villa Respire September 2018. Great villa. Beautiful inside and with an absolutely stunning view from the outside. Much better than expected. All equipment, air condition and service were tip top. Prior to booking we read reviews and decided to give it a shot even though we found a few old bad reviews. There was nothing to criticize and our stay was fantastic from check in to check out. We were a big group of people but there was no noise between the rooms and it was comfortable to be so many people in the same villa for one week. Super service minded company and always very responsive when needed. Also helped us with some shopping prior to our arrival, which was a big help for us. Thanks for making our holiday so good. Highly recommended.

Fantastic week in Respiro. Probably the best view we have ever had from our accommodation. The chalet host was spot on - helpful and friendly but left you alone when needed. We had a superb Sicilian breakfast cooked for us every morning to set us up for the day. And dinners a few nights as well. Perfect

Booking was so easy and the pre trip information and directions to properties was brilliant making it easy to find more rural property. We stayed at Itaca and then Punta Marina and both properties were very good quality with everything provided for a home from home stay. The pools were clean and inviting on arrival and the welcome packs were lovely and so appreciated after a long journey we had something to eat and drink. The properties were spotlessly clean on arrival and a good provision of towels and pool towels ready to use. The contact made with local Managers was perfect and well communicated and makes such a difference knowing you have a local contact for any issues. After leaving the checkout was quick and easy and deposits were returned quickly a couple of days later. I’d recommend Solo Sicily to anyone who wants a top quality property rental and the support of a local team during your stay.
