Built by Alessandro Torlonia, together with Piazza Torlonia it forms a park in the center of Avezzano which houses the Torlonia palace and the Torlonia pavilion, with the museum of rural and pastoral life on the Fucino plain in the nineteenth century.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Torlonia ha un ruolo strano in questo momento. Usata per conferenze, fiere, e per la Settimana Marsicana in estate, son stati teorizzari numerosi nuovi ruoli per l'edificio negli anni ma non si è mai fatto niente.
Resta comunque una visita dovuta, soprattutto quando aperta. Si pisdono ancora visitare lo chalet di caccia della famiglia Torlonia, tra altre cose.
Villa Torlonia has a strange role right now. Used for conferences, fairs, and for the Marsican Week in summer, numerous new roles for the building have been theorized over the years but nothing has ever been done.
However, a visit is due, especially when open. You can still visit the hunting lodge of the Torlonia family, among other things.
