β β β β β EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! October 2016.....As is said, a picture is worth a thousand words. Gabriele Indaco, Property manager and family member of the ownership did not disclose about the crane, not a word about it before our arrival or during the reservation process. We met some local residents that told us this crane had been there for 5 years. We would have chosen to stay in another villa or one of many great hotels in Taormina.
Gabriele told me this is just one of the chances you take when you come to a big city. Cranes are everywhere. He also told us the crane was not a working crane which was not true. The crane was only dormant on Sunday, the rest of our week stay it was being used for construction of a huge apartment complex below Villa Parmina.
We were also forced to pay extra and have a housekeeper on premise each day for 5 hours each day. No privacy at Villa Parmina!!!
