This is a free place to visit, and well worth the walk through. The gardens are beautiful, and the house is breathtaking. There is so much to learn here.

It would be a pity to miss seeing this palace. The entrance is still free. The guide allows entry every hour ( in 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 ...) and you can see 2 floors of the building. In some rooms are descriptions and explanations of the history of the family and the inhabitant of house. Would recommend.

Incredible inventory of Italian history and art, a landmark of culture, a cherry on the top of everything you may find in Florence.

It has been a very disappointing visit. It caused me a great regret to see the status of decay and neglect of a villa that was built for Lorenzo il Magnifico and that was frequently used also by the Kings of Italy... The entrance is free...it would be better to close it to the public for a big restoration project and then reopen it, making the people pay to see a magnificient renaissance villa.

Part of Unesco World Heritage, but why the Internet page is not updated ? Opening hours were not correctly shown, we were driving one hour in order to find out that the Villa was closed ! Embarrasing !

Possibly the best of all the villa medicea, and grandest. Used by Lorenzo, Napoleons sister, the Lorraines and as recently as the kingv in the late 1800's. This use has helped keep it in reasonable condition, and i found it very interesting as a perspective on the Medicee. Bonus is free entry, but with covid make a booking, the guide is there mostly to watch, tours on the half hours. The roads are a one way system and unrestricted parking is not close, allow some time toblbwork this out and walk to the gate.

The villa is very wonderful, inside there are unique works of art by important authors. The guides are very knowledgeable and truly passionate. The gardens are also beautiful. The main problem is that about this villa - unesco pride of the municipality and of the province - you never know when and how (and if) you can visit it. From the beginning of the pandemic, the moments that is closed are more than those that the villa is open. Don't waste time trying to visit it, especially its interiors.
