A nice hotel in Palermo that is part of the Rocco Forte group. Good restaurant and good reception.

All I can say is what a disappointment, after looking forward to staying here, for some time, with the opening delayed because of the pandemic. Firstly, the majority of the staff are great, very helpful and professional and there are certainly plenty of them. What is clear is the complete lack of leadership, certainly around the restaurants. The respective managers (again, there seems plenty of them) are AWOL. Breakfast is an absolute car crash with any number of waiters running everywhere, significant delays in even the most basic dishes and errors that are too many to count. Again - helpful staff, but no organization. Food at breakfast is really disappointing. Several dishes were unavailable, including local sausages! The lack of quality in the food (except fresh fish) follows through into the evening in both the bar and restaurant, poor service standards, notwithstanding the sheer number of staff. After a couple of attempts, we ended up going out for lunch and dinner. There are any number of restaurants in Palermo at half the price, and far better quality. Let’s look at some positives, and that was the pool area, very tranquil and very well staffed, with a great team looking after you. In addition the concierge and the car park attendant/greeting team were excellent. Really made us feel special, which surely this hotel is designed to do. Rooms are good, well serviced during the day and evening. One further issue was an early morning fire alarm - because one person had smoked in a room. This doesn’t feel right. Finally to add insult to injury, my car was damaged in the car park, under the control of the hotel - when I complained, no interest at all - the cost to me - €800 with AVIS. Hotel has only effectively reopened but this has a long way to go to meet expectations, as frankly, you are paying a heavy price for mediocrity. NEVER AGAIN - AVOID at all COSTS.

Excellent hotel and staff. My only dislike is the neighborhood was dirty and not enjoyable for walking. There is a grocery store and nice bakery 200m from the hotel also.

Stopped there for lunch. The service was excellent. Don't expect it to be cheap. Shame that they are going to be closed in January/February as we were hoping to stay there. Thank you and keep up the good work

Beautiful hotel with extraordinary beautiful garden and ocean view. What a luxury to have a swim in the pool before breakfast all by myself. Very charming breakfast team and delicious Chocolate Martinis.

Excellent hotel with stunning grounds and very professional and courteous staff. Able to accommodate a number of bespoke requests, and always available to lend a hand. Dinner in the restaurant is a treat, though a night in the bar with an excellent pianist, beautiful company and a glass of Entroterra (pea & gin - sure) is definitely worth not missing. Loses a star not because of the staff, but a number of IT glitches that the team weren't able to support with - not their fault, but customer not really thought about on that journey. Not a reason to not go back.

I walked past this hotel and saw how nice it looked from the outside. I went in and had a drink - the cocktails were 20 eur each, the coffee was 5 eur each and we were charged 10 euros possibly for the olives, crisps, cakes that cake with the drinks - I could not quite understand the bill. The food and drinks were good. Had a walk around the garden - the view was fabulous.

We stayed here the beginning of April and the hotel was just coming to life. The gardens were beautiful and we were upgraded when we arrived. The service was amazing, staff was very accommodating and professional and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was an extensive buffet with menu options. We had dinner at the bar for 3 of our 4 night stay. Getting into town for dinner was quite inconvenient and dinner at the bar was intimate with fabulous food choices. We booked dinner at their restaurant but opted out last minute for a more casual setting. The only thing I would change would be I would book the hotel a month later to enjoy eating outside and enjoying the pool and grounds more.
