Villa Gemma a Noventa Padovana (in passato conosciuta come Villa Suppiei-Penasa ed ora di proprietà della famiglia Giaretta) è un bellissimo esempio di villa veneta rurale. Non si conosce con esattezza l’epoca di costruzione e neppure i passaggi di proprietà se non negli ultimi ottant’anni. E’ un semplice edificio dai caratteri settecenteschi con vaste adiacenze rustiche e pochi alberi residui del vecchio parco e giardino. Fu più volte rimaneggiata e riportò gravissimi danni nell’alluvione del 1966: tutta la parte orientale fu infatti distrutta dalla vicina “rotta”, l’ultima di una serie sicuramente secolare.

Villa Gemma in Noventa Padovana (formerly known as Villa Suppiei-Penasa and now owned by the Giaretta family) is a beautiful example of a rural Venetian villa. The time of construction and the changes of ownership are not known exactly in the last eighty years. It is a simple building with eighteenth-century characters with vast rustic surroundings and a few residual trees from the old park and garden. It was remodeled several times and suffered serious damage in the 1966 flood: the entire eastern part was in fact destroyed by the nearby "route", the last of a series that was certainly secular.
